Let me know how those black bolts hold up!! I’ve gone thru two sets and they start to rust the minute I bolt them in!!!

I've used a number of otisincla bolts both black zinc and dacromet. Though the black zinc has never rusted, they do fade a bit. On the other hand, the RAD dacromet coated bolts look almost brand new even after one and a half winters.

Customer service was terrific too - always happy to help answering questions and special requests.

As SQive already mentioned Mops (Ben) from Nnemesis auto sport provides support with sourcing and recommending parts for us on Audizine and others directly through Nemesis.

If you are looking for or thinking about any modification to the car he should be your first (and only) point of contact. Me and many on this forum can't speak more highly of him and the Nemesis team.

99% of the parts i got for my SQ was sourced through him.

No worries! Not too bothered. Thanks for your pointers. Saw from your previous posts that you got the JB4 tune and the AWE exhaust. How is that coming for you? I'm also looking to build up mine. Had a 2014 SQ5 but traded in for the B9 2018 SQ5 as I like update to the dashboard and and how Audi actually did some work on the stock exhaust as compared to the 2014 SQ5

The racing only is the same as Racing in "mexico" most aftermarket parts will state they are for off-rode or Motorsports use only to avoid trying to register and track all the local laws. Mainly regarding pollution and combustion.

Being someone that has grown up in Rochester where Roc-Euro is located, I am surprised they used such a cheap mounting solution for the bottom of the intake. Is it a tricky area to use a more solid mount? I don't own a B9 obv., but I would think there would be a better solution.

Sometimes the easy way is the way to go, no need to over complicate or over engineer. Will know more when I remove my stock box but now, I got no issues with quality or engineer for the price.

Super excited to hear the vids. Take a lot if you can!! Fully open intake is something I'm both excited and nervous about. :-)

I too am all for simple not overly engineered stuff, but using zinc plated (hopefully they used stainless) drywall butterfly anchors seems a bit lacking.

The pictures might not do it’s justice but trust me as the person that purchased it and has it in his hand I’m extremely happy with the product so far. I also have no fears in the producr performing as designed.

I ran the Roc unit on my A5 for 5 years, and SQ5 for over 3 years. No issues at all... trims held up perfectly too. I chatted with John about the toggle mounts, and he's found no solution that is more solid, reversible and non-damaging. And that hardware is not exposed to the elements

My issue is that not everyone lives in warmer climates or necessarily has a garage to store there vehicle in. Roc-Euro is based in a climate that gets a ton of snow and uses salt on the roads all winter long, our cars go through the ringer if you daily drive em.
Also my intent is to not derail the OP thread, GLW your build man.

I fully agree, the ROC-Euro intake was the easiest to install.

The only thing that would make it better is other Audizines stopping over for a mod party
