    Engine Oil Light Won't Clear

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Checked oil level and all is good. VCDS would not clear it. Checked other posts and Youtube. Only found a sensor for the hood latch and this warning light are the same. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?20180725_131537.jpg

    It's likely hood latch related. Did you happen to review this post in your search effort? The procedure the OP posted in that thread appeared to solve the issue.

    Edit ... adding that there are a lot of threads with resolutions to the problem. Hopefully one of them will be helpful for you.

    was just going to post the hood latch being the issue. Can you believe Audi linked these two items? Pretty darn funny

    Excellent! Thanks very much. I took it out and cleaned it, but no luck. I'll get the hood latch and sensor ordered. Great links...very much appreciated.
