Looks great! Did you only change the springs or have you also done shocks?

I only did the springs but I wish I had also done the shocks while it was all taken apart. Oh well, another project for another time.
By the way, the ride is actually quite rough. I didn't think so at first till I actually started having to go down shoddy roads and bumpy highways. I don't care though, I'm usually the only one in the car and it looks great.

I have a question, I have a 2016 A3 s line (8v) and I want to upgrade my breaks, I was wondering if the breaks for an s5 would fit?

You are better off looking at using some Audi Q5 Brembo brakes as an upgrade like I and others have done before.

While we are on the topic of brakes, how many of you guys have a big brake set up? And if you do have one what did you do in the rear? I have come across quite a few different kits for the front but only one for the rear made by HPA. I'd like the front and rear to match so it seems HPA is my only option.

Yeah not too many options, I guess you could do a OE setup off a S3 or a RS3??

Looks like some people with S3s/rs3s buy a adaptor to run a 356mm rotor in the rear.

Do you know if its a direct fit with S3 or RS3 brakes?

yup should be, minus rotors and possibly brakes lines as they may have slightly different fittings

Not sure how many people are on this thread . But man I’m having some issues with my 2015 Audi A3 fitment..
    it’s been really bugging me..

First of all… should’ve done my research before I purchased my wheels.. (can’t go back now… wife will kill me lol)
So this is the wheel size
    18x9.5 et35 … (if I could go back I’d go 8.5 et 40)

Here’s where it’s killin me, the tire sizes. I first had on 245 40 18, ditched those, had so much rubbing … “on coil overs” I raised it up. But I just hated that big gap ..

A buddy of mine recommended I’d go 225 40 18. Looked stupider .. but at this point I’m already into it deep. Wife’s mad so I can’t keep dropping to much cash.
But I am looking to do something like 245 35 18
Even 235 40 18. Not into the stretched look at all.

What do you guys think ??

would you know if it's a direct fit or is there anything else I would need in terms of a new hub or anything of that nature.

I saw this A3 on Reddit, actually commented on it asking about the rear sway bar haha.
What springs are you going to go with? I'm running H&R super sports.

Thanks, I'm going with the H&R Sports. How do you like the super sports? I heard they were a bit too harsh for daily driving so I went with the regular sports. I want to close up that wheel gap but still want a bit of comfort. And I plan on keeping the stock struts & shocks however I will be installing the 034 strut mounts & bearings.

The super sports are just like you said, harsh haha. The ride height is about perfect though, I love it.

Haha yea thats the trade off. To get the perfect ride height you have to deal with some harshness. I had the regular H&R sports on my Jetta before so I figure they'll be good enough for my A3. Too many potholes around here to deal with the super sports.

Traded in my wife's Tiguan for an e-tron. This is our second nano grey Audi - I almost forgot how beautiful the color is.

Debadged and next to my SQ5.

Picked up my first Audi last weekend after being a Honda guy since the early 2000's. Loving it so far. Fell in love with the Quantum Grey color. Already put black badges on and picked up what seemed to be the last damn set of these discontinued floormats in the country.

Nice! I have the same car with a few mods. Can the front license plate bracket be unscrewed or did you have to get some kind of filler plate?

The plate bracket is held with clips and screws, you can un-screw and un clip. No filler plate is needed for our cars.

Looks like you sorted it out with MNAudi's advice.

Funnily enough I just ordered RSe10's today as well, although in Satin Black. Should have the wheels, APR intake and ECU upgrade done in a few weeks. Yours looks great! What are your wheel/tire specs?

I'm going with 18x9 +45 on 245/40 PS4S (hoping it's not too much sidewall). Any pictures with the new coilovers?
