Starting this thread to keep track of progress, keep me motivated, and hopefully share as much info as possible with the community.
Now I know threads like these have been started on here before (some may recognize this avant from the last 3.0t thread), but I'm here to see this through to the end. 48k mile 3.0t motor has been acquired, 2010 s4 wiring harness and ecu are en route. On the wiring side, I've been in contact with one of the Audizine OG's. Mechanically, the swap should be pretty straight forward, some custom lines here and there but nothing major.
Planned Engine Mods:
- Swaintech coated B8 headers
- Stage 2 tuning with smaller SC pulley
- B7 RS4 lightweight flywheel and Stage 3R clutch
- Roc-Euro custom intake
- Meth Kit to keep IAT's down
- Potentially APR Ultracharger kit
Current Mods:
- 034 rear sway bar
- Hotchkis front sway bar
- S4 front and rear brakes (18z's waiting on prep/paint)
- 4:1 diff mod
- Koni coilovers
