Also on the hunt for adjustable front, and rear upper control arms. Doing the lowers too, but not sure which lower rear ones. Meyle HD fronts. Haven't done much research on rears though.

We have the material, but that would take more money, and time than buying some secondhand lol.

Atta boy. Keep up the good work!

The upper CAs will be perfect for you. Have a feeling 1.5* adjustment for camber isn’t going to be enough for my Avant on H&R Ultralows, so they’ll be perfect for ya.

I'll let you know when the time comes. I know it'll be soon though. I just have to paint the subframe, so I'm just waiting on good weather. Spring time.

Good deal, man. Not to be a debbie downer, but I'd do some research on those SPC arms... I'm sure some people have good luck with them, so YMMV.

I won't be putting much milage on this car. So for milage, I'm not too worried. I'm sure they'll last a while.

I'm not sure how low you plan on going, but I have read that there is some clearance issues for cars that are really low. I'm sure you'll be fine, just figured I'd mention it.

It's mainly at strut mount where the control arms bolt in. See vid (skip to 3:20):

It's not a huge issue, just shows where to grind away some of top hat.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be a big deal for ya. I think there's also some cases of the ball joints binding too, but idk how much of the reported problems are due to install error or what. lol.

So yes, the two ball joints might rub. i had this problem before, and the boots are torn and c-clip loose, but i still got it warrantied by spc.

They said, Caster has to be 6 or more to avoid the problem. So far mine been ok. Way easier to adjust than my 034 which i had before.

Working on the strut mounts now. Got a super solid drivers side from Tyler. The passengers side had been replaced not too long before I got the car. I decided I'll blast both of them and make sure I get rid of all the rust (very small amount on the passenger side) before putting them in.

Got the 18z's, and control arms last night. First little clean for them before refinishing the calipers, and rebuilding the control arm ball joints. (Torn boots)

Whenever I finish it, Hah. Thank you. I cannot wait to actually start putting things back together. One thing I'm lacking is time. The car being over an hour away from me puts a huge damper on things.

    Lol, I know.

I got the other shock mount blasted. With the good weather coming up I'll be able to start painting pieces that need to be finished, then I can start assembly.

I'll likely be blasting the 18Z's, and painting them imola. Once those are good to go I can install the front sub frame, and suspension. Once that's in I'll be one step closer to putting the engine, and tranny in.

I got around to pulling the S4 Diff out from under the work bench last weekend. Got it all cleaned off (old fluid leaks/never being cleaned). I've ordered the seals I need to fix the leaks. Which I hope will be here in time for me to get it Painted, and assembled for this weekend. When I'll be pulling the old A4 Diff out (finally). Then I can properly inspect the rear subframe to see if I need to replace it.
