Attempting to find the impossible...trustworthy dealer recommendations

Hello and good day everyone, my wife's S3 has to go in for the rear suspension bushing replacement (a certain batch of 2016 mag ride equipped S3s have a loud popping noise from the rear suspension and Audi has released a fix).

Are there any dealers, specifically for service that anyone can recommend? I'll drive to Jersey, CT, the Hamptons, PA for a trustworthy dealership that would take good care of our car. I've had bad experiences with Biener and Lynbrook so I refuse to use them again.

I will be using this dealer for routine service also because we got Audicare with her car.

Thank you so much to each any everyone of you for taking the time to chime in. I had a friend from work that took his Audi to Bell and even though he was 7k miles out of warranty, they replaced his entire shortblock on his A4, no questions asked. I'll give Huntington Audi a try and ask for Jenna.

On a side note, Q5 dave, the vehicles listed in your signature are two vehicles I'm currently debating on having my S4 replaced with. I need something larger but the A8 4.0T is out of my price range and the Q5 feels as though its the same size (when comparing interior leg room, the trunk in the Q5 is a lot more useful though).

I have mixed feelings about Biener. I can't remember why though but I used to bring my 02 A4 there and I just decided I was better off avoiding them.

I had a terrible experience with Audi Brooklyn -- lying service advisor, damaged my car, held it for days with no updates before giving it back. Fortunately I got a call some weeks later that they had fired him, and they fixed the problem. Their advisers were always a bit shady.

Currently, I go to Audi Meadowlands because it is conveniently close to my office, and they are... OK. I think it really depends on which service adviser you get. I've had no problems when coming in for warranty service, but ask them to do something beyond that and it becomes a pain. My car is there right now for a leaking water pump and bad headlight module, and I asked them to reset my service indicator light while they have it. "Can't legally do that", "It's above my level", "Do you want to do your service here?".

This adviser's name is Andrew. I've had better a experience working with Alex, although he's failed to call and update me before as well.

I've read some reviews on Yelp about Huntington and someone claiming that they used his car as a loaner?! That's a scary thought, lets hope if it did actually happen that the person responsible is no longer there.

And i agree Nok, dealer service experiences leave alot to be desired. You would think that the money we spend for these cars that it should be an outstanding experience.

I've gone to Huntington a couple times in the past. Never had a problem from routine service to replacing the SQ5 pano subframe.
Now I use Bell since their right next to my workplace. Top notch service and they will take care of you no matter what.

Thanks for all the recommendations. Right now its a toss up between Huntington and Bell. I'm leaning towards Bell because I've heard alot of positives about them. I'll be sure to post my experience here.

Made an appointment with Huntington for the end of the month. I have one complaint with these NY dealers, even though I called 4 weeks in advance, they can't guarantee an Audi loaner but maybe a rental because I didn't buy the car from them. I have two Audi's that cost alot more than the Nissan/Honda/Acuras I had and no matter which dealer I chose for service, they always had a loaner available.

The same thing happened to me when the S4 had to go in for the 24AP service campaign. I had to get a rental because Biener says they don't issue loaner cars unless you purchased the car from them.

Nevermind, I canceled the appt. with Huntington and made one with Bell Audi for Nov. 5th. I'll report back with my own review and opinions.

make an appointment with Rich P. at atlantic audi and have only sean work on the car. He'd definitly help get the loaner.
