Excelerate Performance is your premier Northeast performance and service center for your Audi. Our 2500 sq ft facility includes four bays, all of which are equipped with 10,000 lb automotive lifts, each of which is designed to work with different types of vehicles depending on how low the vehicle is or the design of the chassis. We also have an extensive array of mechanic’s tools, including specialty tools for many European vehicles. Additionally, we have a MIG welder, band saw, smoke machine, SNAP On Modis, Autoenginuity Scan Tool, VAG Com, and many many more tools. Each of these tools allows us to diagnose and repair your vehicle more efficiently. This saves you money and time.

Although Excelerate Performance specializes in the sales and installation of performance parts on your Audi, we do also perform regular maintenance and service work. Services range from oil changes to engine builds. We do it all: suspension, brakes, timing belts, Check Engine Light diagnosis, VAG COM work, etc.

We've been extremely busy with the sales of parts, service and performance parts but here are a few pictures and updates on some work we've done recently.

The 800 HP R32 is back for some maintenance. This vehicle has a fully built transmission with cryo-treated internals, Wossner low compression pistons, Integrated Rods, custom exhaust, MOTON suspension, direct port water methanol, and a custom turbo kit all done by my mechanic, between his previous shop Sleeper's Performance and at his current position as Master Mechanic of Excelerate Performance.

One of our shop cars, a 09 GTi 2.0T TSi M/T is back on the road. We will make a separate thread for this vehicle shortly but it has been the recipient of a number of great additions: APR Stage 3, APR 3" RSC exhaust, B&G Coilovers, STOPTECH 328MM ST-40 Big Brake Kit, BSH Engine Mounts, Peloquin Limited Slip Differential, South Bend Clutch, AEM Water Methanol Kit, and so much more. On the 100 octane file she's making about 29 psi.

This B7 A4 2.0T came to us with a few codes. It turns out there was some significant damage to the intake camshaft, High Pressure Fuel Pump, and cam follower (or lack thereof).

Had a great time today at Lime Rock Park with the Northeast Quattro Club members. I even met a few Audiziners. I'll have pictures up early next week. I wasn't able to register my vehicle in time but I did get a ride in a GT3 with a Master Instructor and it was amazing. We were literally a few feet away the entire time from a GT3 RS and a twin turbo R8 V10.

Just wanted to let you know, I think I was riding with Anthony whom I met yesterday in the GT3 RS you mentioned. That track ride was a blast and I am already signed up for my first track event at Lime Rock on June 6th. Time to upgrade the brake fluid and get my exhaust straightened out!! The pieces of the HPFP then fell into the crank case as well as into the reluctor wheel causing a crank sensor issue. In the end, this vehicles received a remanufactured engine from VW. More pics of the cam follower and cam shaft to follow.

One of our longtime customers acquired a B7 RS4 less than a year ago. In that time we had installed Milltek Downpipes, a Milltek catback exhaust, and APR software. However, he had been asking us about a custom exhaust for some time. We had toyed around with the idea of a 2.75" exhaust based on some forum feedback but it was ultimately decided that a 3" exhaust would be better. So, a few weeks ago, the vehicle was dropped off and we fabricated a 3" exhaust. The exhaust was built using T304 mandrel bends, Vibrant high flow cats, Magnaflow mufflers and a Milltek tips. The result was nothing short of amazing. It is one of the best sounding exhausts I have heard and the power gains seem to be significant throughout the entire RPM band. Onto the pictures.



















And here is the recipient of the exhaust. This vehicle has an amazing custom interior as well: Euro RS4 seats with custom leather and RS4 stitching. We will also be installing a Stasis Motorsport suspension on this vehicle soon.
