    Back driver's side carpet SOAKED

Lately my back driver's side (and now front) carpet have been getting soaked. I was able to get it dried out overnight with a fan. However every time it rains it gets absolutely soaked again. Before someone says its the 2 drains by the batteries I've already cleared these both recently. This is frustrating beyond belief and I would like to fix this before winter so please let me know what it could be.

There are drains by the sunroof in the corners, might want to check those.

Also, different car, but on my sisters sonata, the rubber insulation/gasket that is supposed to seal the door to the chassis was torn in a few places and in others basically unattached itself from the door. fixed that for her and no more water by the door sills.

Definitely check the sunroof drains on the driver side and around the hood latch cable grommet by the ecu. My rear passenger sunroof drain popped off and I also had a leak in the passenger floorboard that I fought for a while. I put hose clamps on all 4 sunroof drains so they will never pop off again, and used some seam sealer on the area in the passenger floorboard.

Do you know of a write up for the ecu and sunroof drains?

I didnt follow one but removing the headliner to fix the drains sucks. All the pillars, sunvisors, grab handles and sunroof control has to come out. Slide your front seats all the way forward and then lay them all the way back. I pulled the headliner out through the passenger side door with a bit of maneuvering. As for the hood latch cable by the ecu box, Ive read people just putting silicone around the grommet.
