I had a goal...my "one day - I'll own a car like that" has finally become a reality for me.

This one is to stay. Lot's of little things to do, overall I'm very happy! Updates to come in the near future. In the meantime, here are a couple to hold ya'll over.

Is that thing built already, or is that what you are starting with and going to make even moar badass?!?!

Dont lower it, they cruise so much nicer. Maybe the front a lil for some rake, but there are legit reasons for that.

Sorry for the confusion - I purchased the car with the conversion completed. I will be starting with what you see and I will put my DNA (if you will) into it.

edit: the car looks to be done right (with the RS4 widebody and all), but what I was getting at is exactly what you said, injecting your "DNA into it" per say.

First big purchase came in the mail today! KW v3.

The car currently has Koni coilovers installed. I will be taking those out and will be installing the v3's as well as some stern adjustable control arms.

After posting up the Recaro's in the classifieds - they sold in less than 24 hours. They're off to SD for a fellow b5 s4 owner!

Regarding the car - the previous owner installed a new battery in the car just prior to the sale. Well, after starting the car to move it out of the garage so I could clean it out and reorganize it - the battery light was on and the volts were sitting right around 12. Without diagnosing it, I'm pointing my fingers at the alternator. It could also be the meth controller drawing power continuously (long story - but, the controller is bad). We'll see soon enough - it's getting picked up by a buddy to bring to his shop for the coilover, control arm, and other goodies i'm not ready to spoil yet!

Sold my KW V3's for a set of Ohlin ttx.

Both front and rear seats, pillars, center console, etc are out and I'm almost at that point to take out the carpet. There is a small tear near the throttle and it's one of those eye sores that I must make right. Still haven't found a clean carpet but my search will continue.

In other news, my alternator took a shit so I purchased a refurb'd unit as well as a starter. I will be tackling that soon enough as well.

Oh and my aquamist controller works intermittently so I got to call them up to get a work order processed.
