    ST, Vogtland, or BC ?
I'm in the UK so can't get the GT3 Vogtlands easily. Will the normal ones be OK? I have searched this and some love the Vogtlands some the STs but some say STs are too soft? The Taiwanese manufacture of the BCs is putting me off? Thanks in advance

ive heard nothing but good about the vogtlands, difference between the gt3 and normal ones is adjustable dampening i think.

If I didn't find a great deal on H&R premiums, I would've gone with BC. Great coilovers for the money, GT3s are another very well regarded coilover option for these cars.

GT3's have a stiffer rear spring than the normal version. GT3s do not have adjustable dampening.

I have GT3s on my avant. Overall I've been happy with them, nice for a daily driver that is leaning just a bit more towards the aggressive/stiff side.

If I were to do it all over, I would have just saved for KW V3s or PSS9s. An adjustable dampening coilover is the only way to be 100% happy.

+1 on saving for V3s or PSS9s... I just installed pss9's on my car about 2 weeks ago and other than the fact that I set it up too low and need to raise it just a hair, I absolutely love them. even passengers have said that it has a nice ride. I have them set as soft as they go and they are more supple than stock but don't give you the boaty feel. I have heard similar things about the V3's. With coilovers waiting and spending a little bit more for quality goes a LONG WAY

I own Stasis Motorsports, gt3's and bc's. I'm installing the bc's next week. I went with a 14k rear spring instead of the 10k they offer. Build quality of them is nice and what I really like about them is that spring preload and ride height adjustment is separate from each other. They are also damping adjustable. I will give a review after I get them on next week.

Where did you order the BC's from with the stiffer rear springs?

I ordered directly from bc. It's sourced from a celica since our rear springs are v-barrel. If you want to run linear barrel springs, like swift springs, you'd have to have a collar machined for the top perch of the spring similar to kw's. I have the swift springs in the front and will be upgrading the rears eventually.

STs are fine for people who just want to lower the car, maintain stock-ish ride quality, and have height adjustability. In terms of performance, they are no where near the level of BCs or GT3s.

I've had my PSS9s for about a year and a half, overall I like them but the ride does get harsh/loud over time, If i dont drive the car for a week they feel better than say after driving the car for 7 days...its weird idk...what do you PSS9 guys have your ride height set to?

I had ST's on for about 4 months before switching to v3's. V3's were huge improvement. They are great in the twisties and people always say how comfortable my car rides on SoCal fwys. It's not super low but it's setup for the best performance and corner balanced. I have heard great things about PSS9's as well but don't have any experience.

Vogtlands, the GT3s are fixed, but the rear springs are replaced with stiffer ones. The standard sieres is great, and is a nice bump.

ST spring rates are closer to stock, and give a more factory ride.

For the money, Vogtland's are hard to beat. Good adjustability and ride quality.

The Pss9 is designed to function within a specific range of travel. If you get out of that range the dampening sucks. At 26 to ground you should be fine, Im at 24 on mine and that is the vary bottom of the range when measured at the strut. I run mine set at 4, I find that is the sweet spot for the street, 8 was just so soft haha.

I have known of other complaints like your, just has not been my experience, I love mine.

yea i figured 25 and up was ok, stock is 26 or 27 anyway...but i just think its weird that if the car is sitting for a while the ride is way better than after driving it every day for a given amount of time...weird...but I like them overall. I had them as stiff as 2 before and it was a bit harsh, i can try 4 though. I thought about going with the B12 pro kit (non coil set) a while back before getting the pss9s but it was a made to order deal from bilstein and i would have had to wait.
