B7 S4 GB REMANUFACTURING 85212252 Fuel injector thoughts?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys,
I am looking to replace my injectors, and I came across these on rockauto.com. This is the description from the website:

Remanufactured Multi Port Injector Always replace fuel filter when injector is replaced.

GB Remanufacturing rebuilds only OEM injectors. This means GB injectors have the same fit, form, function, flow rates, and spray patterns as OEM injectors because they are OEM injectors. 100% of GB products are tested to meet and/or exceed OEM specifications and paramaters.

Does anyone have experience with these?

I have looked around and this seems to be the best deal by far. I would appreciate your thoughts on these, or if there is any other better alternative. I want to replace my injectors soon as my B7 is @ 156k miles at this point.

According to the mechanic they are leaking, which causes a little surge when i accelerate, and I can smell fuel all the time

Find some one parting out a car and change them, or you can send them in and have the filters changed and have them inspected and sonic cleaned. mrinjector.com is nice. i bought filters from him which addressed some lean codes i had.

Thanks. I will look into mrinjector. Being in Canada and the S4 being my daily I don't want too much of a downtime.

Ecstuning or jhm have replacement o-rings and pintles, easy to remove furl rail and replace them. Did it for mine in under 30 minutes taking my time and cleaning them.

I will get more info from him if they are not closing. If they are not closing would the injectors i posted above be a good replacement?

They state that these are OEM refurbished injectors. Thoughts?

I've used a pry bar jammed under the rail and sitting ontop of the intake manifold, and it was still a bitch.

tip: try to pull the rail as slowly as possible, I could actually feel the o-rings getting unstuck/rolling/whatever .

I dripped a small drop of oil down onto the intake and they came out easier. had to pull it twice recently and each time under 10 minutes.
