Aluthman's FrankenB7 EFR 7163 Build

So as many of you know, my QG B7 bit the dust about 2 weeks ago amidst a rash of senseless B7 deaths. I was pretty sure that the car was totaled as soon as I got out and looked at it, so I wasted no time looking for a replacement. After an exhaustive 45 minute search, I stumbled across the car I ended up buying. I ended up buying Kristokes Ibis DTM sedan. Where as my previous car was more go than show, Stokes' car leaned more towards the show. It did have a GT3071 BT kit installed but it was on a stock motor and clutch, which limited the setup. So what was a guy to do? Yup, combine the best of the two to make a FrankenB7.

I put a deposit on the car and hopped on a train to head down to Jersey to pick it up. After some delays with less than stellar NJ DMV employees and a small hiccup at the bank, I was on my way back to CT. So without further ado, I hereby commence this build thread! I even broke out a real camera to take pictures instead of using my iPotato.

No because it has some issues that are preventing that. I'm trying to track down some misfires right now as well as a fuel cut issue. Already replaced the plugs, but if they are still there I have a new set of coils. I haven't logged yet, but I think my low side fuel issue is a lack of pressure at high WOT. It has a hard fuel cut (or possibly misfire) that shakes the car when you really get on it. It runs fine otherwise. It also has a remote start installed which bypasses the clutch safety switch. This will prevent me from passing safety inspection at New England Dragway and probably most other places.

I want to get everything straightened out because I'm doing all the interior stuff (including meth and stereo install) before swapping the EFR, built engine, and JHM clutch in. Undecided on whether I want to keep the solid engine mounts or swap my 034 street density mounts over.

I got a CEL about halfway home from Jersey. Not sure whether is was the misfires or the fuel cut that caused it.

Small update. Managed to get the HREs swapped over.

I love it, DTM style looks very good. the cheapest true DTMs in my country with high milage starts about 32k$ its insane!

I bought a used Brembo GT kit, so the rotors are brembo. I'm using StopTech replacement rotor rings though.
