That's why I still haven't picked it up. The design difference really shows how solid the Alu Kreuz is but the stock one looks like it doesn't have much area to flex in... Screw it I'll pass.

With the OEM subframe brace being make of 9 pieces of welded steel, so there is plenty of places for it to flex.

I just added the AK to my 2013 allroad in May. For me, the difference is VERY noticeable..... especially with steering. I like to "drive" my car and I noticed the bite of "turn in" is significantly better. When turning at higher speeds, if there are any imperfections in the road, it feels like the entire car absorbs the bumps rather than just the front end twisting. There is no bullshit with the steering --- the entire column feels rock solid. The AK has really made my AR a much better driving vehicle. It just feels that much more solid. The front end feels like it was carved out of a single piece of steel rather than metal bits and pieces welded and bolted together.
