    Indefinite/intermediate door chime while driving.

Driving the car the door chime will remain on forever till I pull the key, or go non stop for die for 10 seconds just to start again.

I believe either the switch or the chime relay is going bad. The rear doors operate on those push pins things yet how do the fronts work? Is this generally just a case of replacing the chime relay or?

I believe the front door switches are built into the actual latch. You'll have to take the door apart to get at it and replace it. From what I've read, they are pricey to replace, but there are work around a apparently. I've been chasing a faulty switch since I bought the car. Mine was solid for months, and then we had the first really hot day of the season and it was fine. The chime went away. Very frustrating for sure.

As for the backs, I don't have any push pins that I can see. Can you snap a pic of yours?

O.k. thanks. I'll grab some pics.

I noticed something. The chime system works otherwise perfect other then it staying on time to time.

However the improper chime will turn off once the engine is off, and everything works fine when the car is ACC. There's only improper chime when the car is started/driving.

Well dam, I was going to simply pull the chime relay so I didn't hear it non stop. Appears the chime is built into the cluster itself.

Guess I'll try the door removal next.

    O.k. I'm back.

Yes Pringe, from all I could tell the chime is built into the latch. I sprayed the switch with WD-40 and appears to help. It stopped when otherwise it'll keep going, yet haven't done the test drive yet. Doesn't look like a fun to replace as there's so much business connected to it.

Ya, there's a ton of things to take out before you can get at it. That's why I've been leaving it for now. I've seen some fixes on a couple other forums, something about adding material to the portion of the switch that wears over time.

check the door lock switch power wires, i literally tried running a power wire to it to fix part of my electric problem the second power hit it, Even with the car running the door chime started, Just make sure there are no wires crossed in the door!
