Picked up my car from the shop... headlight sensor error

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
See the fix but don't feel I should fix it. Got side swiped on my way to work on the turnpike. Ruined my rim fender door and mirror. Finally got it back today (spent 15 days in a hyundai elantra) and now the headlight control sensor is messed up? Want to bring it back to them tomorrow and day fix it but I don't want to get stuck in a hyundai again... any suggestions?

    Thanks

O and it took them 3 tries to find the correct rim.

Increase your rental reimbursement/coverage so you don't have to. I haven't been stuck with something like that since a couple years ago when I brought my car to the dealership. Rental car closest to my preferred body shop has a deal with Land Rovers, so I'm in that. It's all up to whatever you can afford in the day.

Oh I'm going to. But this sensor should be on the shop and not me right? They did a great job on matching the meteor gray pearl and I might pick up some side skirts I'll want painted in which I will go to them but I want this fixed and due to it being from an accident not of my fault. And I drove the car for a week before bringing it in with this sensor not going off. They should have to cover it. Plus it failed the ball bearing test

It's a tiny little lever that screws into your driver's side lower control arm to gauge ride height in order to adjust your headlight position.

Here's a picture of it I took on my car when doing my suspension. I outlined it in red for you.

He probably just forgot to screw it back in or something. If you really hate Hyundai Elantras you can probably take care if it yourself in 10 minutes.
