No pictures but this went on pretty quickly. I heard some nasty things about trying to get to the top bolt but it wasn't too bad with a short extension. Being a MY2010 I had the latest revision OEM DV and wasn't sure I would notice any improvements so I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It seems to have smoothed out the power band and completely got rid of some mild hesitations I was having modulating around half throttle and above. Power is very smooth and consistent all the way to redline. Overall well worth the price!

    Subwoofer Update
I'm having two vibration issues, first I need to change my mounting strategy of the sub/mdf ring to use lag bolts and nuts straight through the sub/mdf/rear deck because my screws have already started backing themselves out enough to cause some vibrating. This shouldn't be too bad, just need to get some hardware and drill some holes. I'm getting very good at taking the rear deck apart so shouldn't be too much of a hassle. My second vibration issue is with the speaker grille directly on top of the sub. I had to snip off one mounting location and notch the front because it was too close to the driver which may have something to do with it. Didn't have much time tonight to further diagnose but this may take some more thought.

Worked on the rattling today, have 99% of it worked out, I need to add something to stiffen the entire rear deck near the back of the speaker grille. Only happens when really cranked up though.

Also mounted the bass control knob.

Mounted the paint matched trunk lip from eBay. Damn good quality, not sure how I feel about it yet but if I pull it off I'm only down $149.

    Dash Speaker Upgrade

Peerless by Tymphany XT25SC90-04 1" Dual Ring Radiator Tweeter
Peerless by Tymphany NE65W-04 2" Full Range Woofer

Instead of trying to make adapters to mount them I just cannibalized the existing speakers and used some 5 minute epoxy to attach the new speakers to the frames. Came out really well and the sound is great. Now I just need to swap out the door woofers for the leftover polk's from my last car.

    USP MT Solid Clutch Line
Got the clutch line in yesterday and couldn't bleed the damn thing so I'm stranded waiting for a power bleeder to show up on Tuesday. I thought between the old fashion way and my vacuum bleeder I could get it working but no dice so far.

Edit: Power bleeder arrived and had it bled in 10min. I can't believe how great this thing is. This is something that everyone should own. Went with the Motive Black Label Edition.

Install and Review: This clutch line is a huge improvement over stock and I would say a must do for every MT owner. The car no longer falls on it's face when launching in first and performs like a normal clutch. I only have a hundred miles on it so far but very pleased with the results for the cost of a line and the power bleeder (which I should have had anyways). The actual install was somewhat of a pain in the ass and even after cutting the old line in half from below where it goes through the firewall, I still had a hell of a time ripping it out. You'll look at where the line plugs in on top and think "no way anyone was able to do this". I used a pair of long needle nosed pliers to pull back the clip and then you can just yank the line from wherever you can get a hand on it. From underneath the car look for the rubber drain grommet and yank it out, you won't see it from above because it's probably covered in dirt and crap, and there's no way you're sending the new line through where the old one went.

    APR K04
On another note, I started getting the K04 ready to go in. Don't know how much the wrap will help but for the minimal cost, it can't hurt. I have more to do the HFC as well.

    Coming Soon:

    - OEM S5 Exhaust Retrofit (on hand)
    - Replace Door Woofers (on hand)
    - Paint Correction (on hand)

Hey nice work so far! I grew up in Hollis/Nashua, NH myself. I also have a deep sea blue. How did you get those grilles off in your rear deck to sound deaden them? I just did my whole trunk but didn't want to break those plates by yanking them out.

Very carefully. I had them on and off so many times that I ended up breaking both and buying another set from a part out. There is a trick to it using trim tools to pop them out, you need to pop a few across the front, one on each side, and then the rear clips will just pull out. Check out the subwoofer upgrade thread for tips.
