It's been a long time coming, but it's finally time to make a build thread.

Some of you may faintly recognize me, since I'm on and off the threads every couple months.

I have a 2014 RS5 Suzuka Grey fully loaded (+CCBs, adaptive cruise control, etc) with lunar silver interior, which I obtained Nov 2013.

I've gotten a few things done between then and now, but nothing worth a major post. Stuff that I've done that are "gimme mods", aren't worth pics, or can't be seen include

Tint
Miscellaneous VAG
LED interior lighting
CR-15 Upper Strut Tower Brace
Apikol rear diffuser mount
034Motorsport transmission mount insert
034Motorsport rear differential carrier mount insert
Vanity plate

And most recently, I finally received and mounted some Brixton Forged M52 Monaco Series 3 piece wheels in matte rose gold in 20/10.5 offset +27 on Michelin PSS 285/30 .



Sans center caps.


Thanks to Adam from Brixton Forged and Mops for the assistance on the wheels! I'm trying to decide on which center caps to run. I plan to change my mirror caps back to either the color matched suzuka grey, or get them wrapped/dipped. Any suggestions?

Looks fantastic, Kolapo. LOVE the rose gold, with custom hardware, to match the ceramics. I was undecided earlier, but use the rose caps 100%. You could still do the caps satin black, and they'd tie in super well. Nice job!

I have my mirror caps wrapped in more of a gunmetal. I love it, still retains that S/RS silver designation but has an air of B7 Ti Package (since my window trim is also black).

Rose caps, and get chrome lugs to go with the chrome wheel hardware. Do you have any shots showing the poke in the front? I have the exact same wheel size and offset and tiresize (but Hankook instead of Michelin), just curious if you have 1/4" of poke like I do.

Hardware is actually custom finished to match the grey calipers, and anyone with similar spec is going to have some front poke pre-drop.

Thanks for all the love. I put the oem lug caps that came with the stock rotors, however they don't fit on the wheel locks. May need to get MacGuyver with it vs paint matched.

I'll see about some better pics of I feel up to it after work today.

Was going to switch careers and go with that office for the Origs till I saw the price for just the basic RPPL not to mention adding commercial & needed Turbine time!

Might just be the color balance of the photos but the wheels are coming across as very orange. I feel like rose gold has a bit more pink in it. I'm sure it looks awesome in person. Definitely unique wheels

They definitely look much more rose in what little sunlight I've appreciated.

Matte tends to do that. It doesn't reflect light the way everything else in the scene does so it looks out of place. BTW My vote is for the rose caps
