    How much boost do you hold to redline?

    So a little background on my car. It's tuned for 22 psi, which it has no trouble making but it tapers down quickly to 10 psi around 5500 and up. Car has full exhaust, TP, silicon TIP, so I know that's no collapsing. Maybe this is normal, maybe it's not. What should it be at by redline?

    Pretty sure that since the ko3 is such a small turbo it can't hold that boost past 5500ish.

    I did a second gear pull today and I was down to 7psi at redline. Somethings got to be wrong.

    The car boosts to 22 psi no problem lower in the rpms tho....

    These god damn Canadians! Lol. I'll do a boost leak test hopefully Monday after my tester arrives. The lady is bringing it back from home for me. Will report back as soon as I know.

    K03 and K04 fall on their faces past 5500 rpms.

    You can't do anything to make it better other than getting a bigger turbo. But that's a different topic altogether.

    i would but sadly almost right after i posted the turbo in the car blew up RIP. too much bost and its dead, worst part is, its an oem borgewarner replaced about 1 year ago

    I haven't logged my new file from Motoza to view the actual data but by the gauge I spike 24 and hold 23 through most of the rev range, tapering to 22 at 7k. Hoping to get some logs in the next day or so and can post a graph. F21 MF turbo

    For me it is just about perfect for a daily driver. It makes boost pretty low rpm and pulls damn strong to redline. I get full request boost by just about 3k rpm and have usable boost as low as 1.8k because of the mixed flow turbine. I'd definitely recommend it!

    The intent of the thread was to see what all the people running their stock turbo hold until redline. I should have been more specific. But it is cool to see what other turbos hold to redline and where they run out of power. Still useful.

    Full boost with my EFR is 4k, holds 30psi to 7.5k rpms.

    I hit 15-20psi within 3-3500k rpm, tops. Holds till I say so haha.

    Gtx2867r which should hold boost well past 22psi till redline.

    I tuned a B7 running a 2867. I could get the TSFI to hold 34psi until redline, which I think was 7.5k on that engine, and made 412awhp/371awtrq on meth. They're fun turbos.
