Wow it's been some years....

So after owning a B6 and a B7 i always wanted to own the B5 RS4



5y ago i sold the b7 and got me a 964


The hunger for the RS4 remained...

Untill yesterday,the day of my 32th bday

I found myself a 2001 Avus RS
Second owner
Full leather
160.000km
Full history
navi+
B7 calipers & rotors


It does need some TLC,but that won't be a problem
He's a keeper just like the 964

Plans?
B7 RS recaros (schalenzitse)
B7 steering wheels or wrap the original one in alcantara
KW V3's
Nice set of wheels
Full exhaust
Maybe stage 1 or 2 but nothing to crazy

Yes I love the euro b7 rs4 seats!
Also you don't need to wrap your
steering wheel in alcantara. They
make them as an option from the
factory along with the shift knobs.
The genuine ones are selling for $449
USD on Ebay from Sweden I believe.

So things got a bit out of hand...

The turbos had there best time,so decided last year april after a lovely trackday to take the engine out and go for TTE600 turbos

While taking all out it was the perfect time to proper check everything,after all..how bad could it be? Right?



Well....guess again LOL
TTE600 & Wagner intercoolers were ordered
Zinram 3'' downpipes
AEM Cold air with carbon heatshield and a pile of 034 Motorsport parts.




While taking the heads off and send em out for inspection i got some bad news...heat cracks...both of them
So i sourced 2 new heads,got supertech valves and went all out on new parts


The same day our mate from the gearbox overhaull company called...3 syncro's died.
So full rebuild of the gearbox was next




My mate Kevin (kevinpower here on AZ) was so kind to help me with the complete engine rebuild after hye done his own 600+bhp Rs4 B5


I got some parts powdercoated


Bought the Ceika BBK 330mm for the rear axle,front i'll be running B7RS4 calipers with Brembo drilled rotors


Air Lift Perormance kit with 3P management


ARLOWS clutch,it's a Sachs organic one with a in house fly wheel


Vossen 20x10 Forged GNS-1 wheels




Current status TODAY
Car is in the bodyshop for a complete repaint & our friend Kevin is busy with the engine build



The complete engine is getting cleaned,all OEM parts,if needed new,otherwise repainted. I CAN'T THANK KEVIN ENOUGH for all the stunning work!






So far..so good!

As RS4 OEM parts are getting very rare at Audi i bought 2 extra front grilles, rear logos and i got the last pair of OEM rear lights

(purists better don't look)

The car will be painted in Crayon from the latest 991 GT3, the color in USA should be ''chalk''

Together with the yellow calipers,black trim and black wheels i hope it'll be a good combo witch suits the car and isn't Nardo since everybody in europe is using that color on every car

I was going to powder coat my top end black but figured it would be too difficult to locate leaks. Saw this, I'm now powder coating it black lol. Build looks great! Thanks for posting.
