More issues... Limp mode, CEL, EPC

More issues with my car.... I left my car at home over the weekend, and when i started it on monday, the car was in limp mode, with the EPC light on, CEL popping up shortly after that. Had to limp the car to work, No boost, rpm seemed limited and the diverter valve fluttering like crazy when lifting off the gas or shifting.

scanned the car later that day and these were the codes that popped up:

    004243 - Bank 1; Fuel Measuring System 2
    P1093 - 008 - Malfunction - Intermittent

001112 - Evap System Purge Control Valve (N80)
    P0458 - 002 - Short to Ground - MIL ON

000052 - Turbocharger Bypass Valve Control Circuit
    P0034 - 002 - Low

000581 - Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
    P0245 - 002 - Short to Ground - MIL ON

009217 - EVAP Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit
    P2401 - 002 - Short to GND - MIL ON

    000049 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Heating Circuit
    P0031 - 002 - Short to Ground - MIL ON

    000135 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure
    P0087 - 002 - Too Low - MIL O

    008852 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276)
    P2294 - 004 - Open Circuit - Intermittent - MIL ON

    000054 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: Heating Circuit
    P0036 - 004 - Malfunction / Open Circuit - MIL ON

    Anyone have any ideas?

I do have a cracked ecu cover that I've been meaning to get fixed. After it rained or had a long car wash, the fan would turn on when the car was off. Im wondering if this is now causing these issues. (although it didn't rain this past weekend, nor did i wash it. it just sat on my driveway) Is there a relay or something thats gone to crap because of the broken cover relating to these codes?

    Thanks in advance.

Car has UM stage 1, apr test pipe and intake.

Wow seems like a lot of shorts to ground and open circuits there...
Yea i suppose the likely scenario is the cracked ecu cover.

Yeah i think thats my place to start. Although, it seems weird since it didn't rain or anything over the weekend.... Im going to pull the ecu cover off and take a look in the box. Hopefully i can see something under there.

you think its the Ecu thats fried?

I wouldn't think it would be because i cleared the codes, drove it to work fine this morning, but they came back at lunch. That makes me think its a relay or two thats going funky.

Not fried..but shall we say violated because of the crack. I had the same symptoms that you did after a Florida rainstorm that I drove through for 3 hours. Let it sit a day in the sun...all good. Turns out I had a crack in my ECU as well.

There may be some corrosion building up on certain parts of the ECU. You may want to take it out and give it a look.

Have seen numerous cars with cracked ECU covers. Usually just the connectors to the relays in the ECU box get corroded. Sometimes you have to replace a couple relays in there as well.

The ECU is usually just fine.

Check the ECU, if that's not the problem I'd say fuel pump control module. I talked to a guy whose car was doing similar things, mainly just ruining like absolute garbage. Replaced FPCM, problem solved...

Problem solved! One of the relays underneath the ecu blew due to water getting in.

Pulled it out and replaced all good now! Thanks for the help everyone. Sure looked nasty under there. Cleaned it up the best I could and out the new relay in.

I'm using some epoxy and duct tape to seal up the current ecu cover as a temporary fix, and will be ordering a new one ASAP!
