My car is 500 miles away from 60,000 miles service and is also off warranty, would you guys recommend i go to a dealer or a certified Audi mechanic? If so do you guys have anyone in mind? Closet Dealerships to me would be Brooklyn Audi and lynbrook Audi both quoted me $1600.

Also any help with my Audi a4 engine management fault

    Thanks,

The second my AudiCare expired, I stopped going to the dealer. They will over charge for everything. I don't know of any shops for you (I'm 3,000 miles away lol), but many people on here should be able to help. You can even check in the regional section on here.

Also, if you are handy, a lot of the routine maintenance items are reasonable DIY items.

60000 mile is pretty diy but otherwise find yourself a local competent indie.

New owner here and i am going to a audi shop rather than a dealership. When i go to the guys at eurocode tuning i dont feel like im getting ripped off.

Might be a little far away depending on exactly where you are located in NYC, but the guys over at Drive Auto Works here in Mountainside, NJ are amazing and do some really good work. A lot of higher end models (S and RS vehicles) will go out of their way to have it worked on by Dion and his crew. If I am correct, a lot of the Audi Sport NYC guys have their cars modded and maintained by them. Great local shop with fair prices and they're pretty active on the regional forums.

Everyone agrees when the warranty runs out time to go to a indie.

This, but also recommend Eurotech Motorsports in Mahwah, NJ. Many other other forum members including myself, go there regularly. They also have a contract with enterprise so you can get a rental for $35/day plus fees/taxes if you need a car to use.

    Reliable shops NY

    Dennis,
Edge Motors is A1 in Haverstraw NY right north of the city. I have a 2013 Allroad that I have done most of my upgrades thru AWE but Sergei at Edge has installed Intercooler, H&R springs, and free flow exhaust. excellent and good prices.
