02 to 00 Engine Harness Swap

So I'm wondering if this is even worth it or do-able.. I posted in my thread, but want to get a little more feedback.

I ended up with a really good condition harness for a 00 with Bosch Maf harness, my car is a 2001.5 Hitachi Maf

I installed as many connectors as I could and went to crank it - nothing.

    The main differences are:

-> No plug for back of alternator on 00 harness

-> EGT sensor on driver side (not a big deal, might have them deleted anyways)

-> Plug for starter (i think) is different (passenger side firewall) 2 wires on '00 harness, 1 wire on '02 harness

-> No oil pressure sensor plug on 00 harness (front of driver side bank)

-> Bosch Maf sensor would have to be converted to Hitachi Maf Sensor (not a big deal)

-> Ground moved to other side (not a big deal)

I would really like to make this harness work, any input?

I did this with an o2 a6. I bought an 00 parts car and used the engine and the harness. My problem was the connectors under the ECU had to have a few wires repined to go to the right places. I still don't have cruise control but it's running. I had nothing when I tried the first time as well. I think I changed 7 or 8 wires. Also 2 of the connectors under the ecu were actually different and wouldn't plug in. The white and red one I believe. After finding the plugs ( I sold my engine and harness like a dope) And repining all of those there were the 7 or 8 different locations. Good luck

All of my plugs connected under the ecu, the one I'm stumped on is the different starter connection
