I wonder why when I find a job making good money, wife decided to drive my car hitting a concrete pole damaging driver door resulting in a 5k OOP. And also just found that she is pregnant,

Sorry for the confusion, just got out of work earlier after a busy ass day!. Congrats Majer!! On both the baby and a new ride to go with it!.

My bad VNA, lol my kids are halfway there (16 & 9). I can only imagine starting back to square one. One day I can get my dream car when they are out of the house (S6).

Nope, just cringe at the price per gallon. Running 100oct is perfectly safe for any car regardless of tune, albeit usually useless. What you will notice is that on 100oct your 93 file runs amazing, and your 100oct runs well, but not as smooth, yet with more power. Mostly because most 100oct pumps run a 10% ethanol blend, adding W/M will fix this, or buying 104oct usually will help. The only warning I will give you is that the 100oct file is very addictive and you won't go back to 93, and that is absurdly expensive. Oh and it smells amazing.

One question I have for all the k04 owners:
Today I abused the shiet out of my car for the first time since I got the k04 installed...parked it for 6 hours left work...drove it and when I punched it..it felt like quick, aggressive.
Was driving it aggressively trigger a point where the k04 woke up and got used to the car or its me and my fantasy going Loco?

It makes sense, remember the car has a computer that learn from the driver the way we drive our cars, new set up new way to drive, it does makes sense.

    Hey Guys,

Been away for a bit, few things happened. Long story short, Injector 1 and possibly 5th injector went bad, Cylinder 1 is ok after boroscope and compression test (150..), Alternator pulley and belt went to shit, so did'nt have a car for about a week or so (New A3 loaner was nice, but too fitted and then got a little boring). Got the car back today and she road like new!, Fluidamper is in along with New Black Viton Seals and replaced the remaining injectors (my MY 2013 had the older injectors, Audi came out with newer injectors for the 2014+). ANywho, Ko4 running strong and smooth, still puts a smile on my face when I gun it!. As for the Fluidampr, low end feels the same, minimal to no lag at all BUT car feels ultra smooth, especially when cruising 60+ mph and up it feels as if the engine is working less. Butt Dyno feels the same UNTIL top end, especially WOT around 75+ mph all the way to 110 (where I stopped). Power feels more pronounced with a bit more Oompf. Overall happy with the Fluidampr. Hopefully save some cash to get Dynoed then hit the Track with some E85. Overall I am still in love my K04, not one regret.

From my experience it is, incremental upgrade but again performance wise Im maxing out my potential, next summer maybe going water-meth. Im very happy with where my car is right now, especially going Ko4, drivability and performance is top notch! Only kind of wish I kept the stock look of the car, getting revved at isn't fun at times especially with my family in the car.

Installed yet? I'm chomping at the bit to see how the install went, but sad panda that you are getting the APR software.

Two weeks from today, the kit will be installed. If my AR wasn't e85 compliant, I would run HPA's software.

Set a reminder in my calendar ;)
I know on the software, I just want to get someone's impression before I pull the trigger on anything. Leaning to EPL myself, but I don't have access to a vag-com to see my box code to see if it is available.

Most likely, I'll be creating a thread just for the HPA K04 setup and will provide hourly details during the install. My AR will be their first B8.5 K04 so I'm pretty jazzed.

I got fluidampr installed yesterday afternoon and I went last night to homestead speedway, ran 3 times weather was HOT. Best run on a 1/8 of a mile was 8.2
Before fluidampr I was getting 8.3 more or less, but when I went to PBIR for a 1/4 mile I was doing 7.7 to 7.9 time for 1/8 mile and this was without fluidampr, it feel somehow smoother but I have not run it 100+mph.
It could be slower on a 1/8 but might be faster on high end.

Keep in mind this fluidampr is heavier than oem pulley. So I believe you can see some gains on high end.
Anyway when I get home I'll post the slip.
Oh and BTW I purchased the fluidampr 350$ no tax and free shipping. Website is www.ultrarev.com

Honestly PBIR is known for giving insanely, if not impossibly good slips. No idea how they do it, but everyone who runs there does way better than they do everywhere else. So I wouldn't compare PBIR times to non-PBIR times.

And I also changed oil yesterday to motu 300v power. I guess the best way to compare is to run dyno. I will dyno but it's summer too hot in miami

    Thanks for the review Majer,

I agree that more of the power/benefits of the Fluidampr seems to be in the late mid to higher end of the RPM range along with engine protection from increasing vibrations. Low end feels much smoother with a touch more lag, but nothing I regret. Hopefully you can dyno to see if there are any differences in numbers from your previous runs.

I don't mind dyno the car but last time I dyno it was around 80 real feel degrees , and right now it's about 95 real feel, if I dyno now it will not give me accurate reading to compare to last dyno without fluidampr, if a rainy day comes with 80 degree f. I'll dyno, I'll keep you updated. And like you said benefit comes mid to high rpm. I did noticed minimal lag, but I don't mind either, compared to the less vibration on the engine

back in the shop after the car was "studerring " no boost ". I unplugged the air flow sensor and was able to drive to the shop. They found oil in the air filter and apparently spread somewhere else . Not sure where I'd have to ask them again but they strongly recommend going back to stock air filter.

Afe pro dry S not working for me, ever since I went k04 seems like the car is not happy with it. Will give more update later today
