    A5 Exhaust in Trunk

Does anyone know if the stock 2.0T exhaust will fit in the trunk with the seats folded? Wondering if I need to bring a different car to pick it up after installing a new exhaust.

as long as the exhaust is taken apart it should fit no problem. not broken apart but just unclamped and disassembled. i fit a quad S4 exhaust in my trunk before, but it was in like 3-4 different pieces, seller already had it disassembled and he had it in the back of his GTI, so shouldn't have an issue fitting that way.

Easy way is to bring a truck. Hard way is to disassemble.

Stock 2.0T exhaust is not able to be disassembled as its all welded together. I picked mine up in a different car, while it would probably fit it would be all the way up to the front seat so I didnt want to risk scratching anything.

Hmm that's what I thought, I was hoping since it's a single side outlet it would fit a little easier but it's probably best not to risk scratching or tearing any leather. I have access to a minivan that'll probably do the trick. Thanks guys.

It fit for us when I bought FaceSmA5h's AWE dual exhaust.. the stock 2.0T exhaust will extend out through to about the center console, so it'll rest on top of it.

I would advise bringing some old blankets and possibly a pillow to rest between the exhaust and center console unless you want some scratches all over it lol.
