All you southern owner's, what are you doing to combat the "yellowing"?

I wash my car and it's yellow the next day. The interior and the exterior.

Seriously, I'm in Georgia now, and I'm trying to figure out how to fix this. For the Love of god!

Not sure why your interior is yellow unless you have your windows open driving. I strictly keep my windows closed during these few weeks when I lived in NC.

You could try a detailing spray which is mostly water and will help neutralize some of the static on the paint but clear coat is negatively charged as is so it's a never ending battle. Keep on top of washes and wipe downs right after.

Careful washing off pollen though. Can quickly scratch up paint if proper lubrication isn't used.

The yellow will get into the interior even with windows up. It's like a plague! Not much you can do but keep it clean when possible - vacuum and dust the interior often.

no windows down, AC on recirculate. leave the hose hooked up to a pressure washer. I just pressure wash the car off every 2-3 days. but no way to avoid it. just get a REALLY good solid wax on it (I did 6 layers of zaino) to make it come off easier. That's all you can do for the 3-5 weeks it happens.

Check your cabin filter if you still have pollen getting into the cabin with the windows up. If your cabin filter is fine, then make sure you don't open your doors in plague-filled areas.

You can't avoid it. I just spray mine off everyday. Pollen season is only a few weeks anyway.

When it gets really bad, I blow it off with a leaf blower before leaving my house so I don't get a face full with the windows down.

Recirculate on Auto? I get it inside, which is the part that drives me insane.

It shows worst on a white car, which is what I have... fml

It's not just a "southern" problem, we get it in upstate NY and CT as well during the spring.

I was just in GA visiting family. We ate lunch on a covered patio and I set my sunglasses on the table. By the time we paid the bill, there was a visible layer of pollen on my glasses. The struggle is real.

My yellow S4 will be blue again today after it rains. This year seems worse than the last few but it will be over soon and in its place the brutal heat.

I believe there is an extra air filter you can purchase and install. It doesn't come stock on NA cars but I believe they have it for cars in the middle east to combat the dust and sand.

Have a part number? I've tried finding it before but no luck so far.
Life has taught me never try to make something idiot proof, they'll simply come up with a better idiot.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
I have neither the time, nor the crayons to explain this to you properly.

Avoid carnauba waxes as the tend to create static. Use a synthetic sealant instead.
