    Deezys intro and mod thread

Hey guys, some of you may know me as I've been around here since 2004. Started out with a B5 S4 (twice) then a B8.5 S5, sold that and picked up a B7 A4 and a 2015 A3 convertible for the fiancé, and now I recently bought a B8 S4 which will serve as my daily for the next year or two.

The car is a 2012 Prestige, 6 speed manual, NAV, with full ADS and sports diff. Black leather/alcantara as I hate full leather. 52K on the odometer at purchase. Its under the CPO warranty until December 30, 2017. Heres a shot of the window sticker with all the options:

I don't have any real good pictures of the car right now but I felt it was time to at least start the thread. Now that the weather is warming up I'm going to have it fully detailed and take some pics.

In the mean time heres a couple shots as it looked when I bought it:

It came with the RS style grille (from USP) and USP intake.

First mod up was a Viseeo tune2air WMA 3000. The missing bluetooth audio that I had in my B8.5 S5 was a problem for me. This solved that problem and it works very well.

Second on my list was adding the S4 emblem to the front grille. Some people like the plain look, I like seeing the "S4". I just put some tape on it to hold it in place and then used a rubbery type of silicon to attach it from behind.

Third was ordering ecodes. Anyone who knows me here, knows how important it is for me to get rid of that orange piece. It took 4 weeks for them to arrive, so pics later in the timeline.

Next up, spacers. I went with the ECS tuning "flush kit" since they say it was made specifically for stock 19" peelers. I have to say, it helps, but its not really flush. Maybe I need to lower it in order to see the flushness.

Here's a before and after of both sides of the rear. Don't know why but I can't seem to find the front pics in my phone.

I wanted to get rid of the chrome on the fog surrounds. I tried a quick fix with rustoleum paint. I didn't prep it first and the paint bubbled before I could even get it on the car.
Thats ok, a few minutes of sanding and then I used plasti dip the second time around. Im happy with the results. Lets see how well it holds up.

Having a set of trim tools has paid for itself a million times over.

Made it over to my favorite shop for a full checkup on the car. Highly recommended for ANYTHING car related. www.eurotechms.com

Had to say bye bye to the "V6T" on the fender. Ordered some OEM carbon fiber supercharged badges from forum member "dirtyaudi". Awesome price and super fast shipping.

Used a template from europaparts (the typo kills me)

Apparently I reached my picture limit per post. More below...
