Broke this line when taking the motor out, can't remember what it went to.. Can it be deleted? Or how would I fix it?

Looks like part of the ABS system. Don't delete.

that connects to a plastic line that comes out of like around the intake manifold, its part of the vacuum system. not sure about deleting, i think it leads to a vacuum canister under the drivers fender but i could be wrong.

I don't think it goes to the abs system, it dives down somewhere into the driver fender like audacity mentioned. In the vacuum diagram under the hood, there's a line that comes off the n249 and goes to a vacuum reservoir. Could this be that line?

It connects to the EGR system. Which runs down to your front driver side fender. You are going to need to buy a new hose. Don't ask me how I know.

Check the broken line for the part number. That's how I bought a new one for mine when it got brittle and broke on me.

You need this hose if you broke this end as well. The other end goes under the fender well on the driver side.

It attached to a squeeze fitting running beside your ABS system and the other end goes to the manifold I believe, just disconnect that for my engine pull. It's part of the EVAP system

Here is the other part that connects to the EGR tube a posted earlier. I think this assembly part number is 4B0201935N. I could be wrong so, double check it with your Audi dealership. Since this part is different for different makes and models. Start removing your fender splash shields to remove the old broken hose to swap the new one in. It's not that hard of a job.

Part of vacuum system that goes to vacuum reservoir in the fender. It also eventually goes to a pump that is part of EVAP/Fuel tank stuff. You will get a code obviously with this broken. If you cap off things on the engine side it will run/work OK but you won't have vacuum from the reservoir under certain throttle conditions(boost to vacuum) to help move those diverter valves.

You could easily connect the broken end back on with a hose over the two broke pieces and some clamps. Do you have the broken end?

This leads to the vacuum reservoir that is part of the n249 system. you definitely want that hooked up/repaired. It helps the Diverter valves operate independently of the intake manifold under high boost (WOT) and partial throttle applications.

These cars don't have EGR. That is a line for the vacuum reservoir. And the vacuum is used to open the by-pass valves and the auxiliary air valves if those are in the car.

i think on tip cars it is also connected to the SAI system. i remember having to remove some extra lines when deleting the SAI.

Yes, they do they are also called combi valves. Which are used on tiptronic Audi's. My car was a tip converted to a 6-speed.

The EGR valve, or combi valve, is a part of the secondary air injection system that helps keep exhaust emission levels low. This valve is operated by vacuum to open and close an internal diaphragm, allowing air to be directed or stopped to the exhaust or intake system at idle or cruising speeds. If faulty, you may experience symptoms similar to a vacuum leak, and also receive an incorrect air flow trouble code.

EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation. I know very well how the air flows in our cars, and it doesn't include exhaust gas recirculation. The air is pumped to the exhaust ports via channel behind the cylinder head, and from there goes to the exhaust. The exhaust gas never gets recirculated.

Combi valves are just air valves.

Here are the diagrams for the line you broke... your broken part is between 12 and 11 in the engine bay between the manifold and vacuum reservoir:
