Wheel thoughts...

So I am looking for new wheels. Wondering thoughts on these.

Rather run a mono or two piece but trying to get the same diamond cut look in a deep concave so far has been so slam dunk. May see if BC Forged can get me same finish.

Thoughts? I would paint calipers red if I went with the touch of red bolts or some small red detail.

Thats in the thoughts. have a wicked sloped driveway but plans underway finally to change that.

Your current wheel looks way better. Do like the rest of your mods and keep it clean!

Jackson, I have to agree. You know I'm a big fan of Modulare as a brand, but if you take off the logo on the cap, it looks like something you can pick up at Rent-a-Wheel.

I actually even like the wheel design, but not with that color combo.

I know you like it rough. It's quite hard to work with a black car IMO for wheel colors. But I think you have quite a lot of pop on the car already. Especially that alum front splitter.

You have the really effing sexy wavy rs5 rotors so theres no need to detract from it. I would do a subtle change in color for the wheels. For example, a different center cap or getting colored wheel bolts.

Yeah I like that Matte finish on the face. I tend to like a real open wheel to see the calipers and florette rotors but I think I need some photoshop time this weekend.

In my opinion, the problem with the silver face on a black wheel on a black car is that the face just seems to float against all of the black.

Personally, on a dark finish car, I like a bright wheel.

Personally, I think with all the other silver/chrome accents you have going on you are better off sticking with a silver/brushed etc. wheel versus black/gunmetal.

Stainless is a pretty close match to the Alu trim, Jackson. I'd go with that finish. Darker than what you have, but not as dark as gunmetal. Just don't think gunmetal will look good with the Alu bits.


I do like the two tone rims. Not sure if you do.

I kinda like the second set of BC forged you posted with the darker barrel and red accent center caps. I think they would look sharp. 5 spokes will show off your wavy brakes

I like two-tones on certain car colors, but like I said, on the dark colors I like a bright wheel for some contrast and pop. But, there are some really nice looking wheels with two-tone finishes that don't look gangsta or poor boy.

I think the wheel Jackson originally posted would look good on his car in an all silver brushed finished.

Those were the OEM wheels. Have since been changed.

It's a GT3.

It's got yellow calipers with pops of black to tie in rest of the car.

Not a fair example.

I'm not against 2 tone wheels if done nicely. Even black with machine or brushed face can look good but is a hard look to pull off . I always feel wheels should compliment a car and vice versa. I'm having a hell of a time finding wheels that compliment my Daytona Gray A4 with black trim. I may end up going 2 tone as a result.
Jackson, you need to stay away from 2 tone, I think your current wheels compliment the car very well. The alu trim would be best with machine or better yet a brushed look.
