Prefacelift to facelift headlights

I'm posting this for behalf of a interested buyer:
He has a 97 a4 and wants to buy 01 s4 HID oem headlights. Since its facelift, what modifications will he need to do for it to function correctly? I know there's a bit of fender trimming for clearance, is there any wiring modifications? What things do you need to do in order for them to go onto a Prefacelift a4? Thanks.
