Bought a New Camera...

and its sparked my love for shooting again. I've been taking any chance I could get at night to take pics of my car. Enjoy.

Sony A7 with a 58mm f1.2 Canon FD Lens. All pics are unedited straight out of the camera.

Very nice shots! Especially in the low light conditions.

Funny coincidence, I recently bought a new camera to start a fun new hobby as I'm starting to run out of things to do to my S5. Contrary to my original belief, it's not any cheaper than my favorite activity- buying car parts.

Nice! I am actually looking at purchasing my first 'serious' camera this coming week. I am however looking at the smaller/cheaper Sony A6000 but I think it should get the job done for what I want.

What really amazed me about this newer body was its capabilities in low light situations. All of these were taken hand held, without a tripod. O_O

oh definitely! I love how when simply using an adapter, it opens a whole new market of lenses that are amazing but super affordable! I've been using the Canon FD to Sony NEX adapter to run old canon film lenses. Even though theyre 30+ year old lenses and dont have auto focus, they definitely get the job done! For example, I was able to get all of these amazing deals online:
58mm f1.2 for $135, 135mm f2.8 for $100, 50mm f1.4 for $80 and 24mm f2 for $60.

In my opinion, these FD lenses with an adapter on this camera is the best bang for your buck, as long as all you're taking photos of are stationary subjects (because of the lack of autofocus)...

I've had mine for a little under a year. Picked up second hand around when the A7 II was released or announced and people were unloading A7's. It was my first FF camera and first mirrorless. I love the compact body
