    Do I need a new transmission?

    lately Ive noticed some random really hard shifts right between gears even at high speeds. Also, Ive noticed sometimes it doesnt like getting up to speed even tho the revs are there. right now this car feels slow to me so there has to be something wrong. Its the triptonic auto. Any ideas?

    You're probably not going to like the answer but the autotragic transmissions are known to fail on this platform. Is there any fluid leaking from anywhere?

    I havent seen any leaks but i havent been able to check the fluid. Ive just been babying it until i can.

    Mine does something similar, except it will buck a bit when letting on/off the gas in tip mode. I can't wait to 6mt swap this summer lol

    If it suddenly happened it may be a fluid issue or what happened to me my filter in the transmission split open so it couldn't draw fluid from the bottom of the pan like its supposed to
    the B5 S4 is like the mafia... there is only one way out!

    I guess i wouldnt know only had it for a week now. slowing finding all the issues and this is the biggest one i have right now.

    Best advice I can give you is to 6mt that ish with scotty's(advanced automotion) swap.
