I can't believe how expensive 93 is here.

I can get 93 cheaper in NY. In NY the difference between reg and 93 is 40 cents. Here is it 1 dollars. I usually love to travel back to nj because it's been cheaper to fill up before I return

    What's the deal?

Depends on where you go. Typically it's 40-60 cents delta between reg - premium here in Central/North Jersey. It's been consistent $2.19-2.29 for 93 wherever I go, and that's a bargain compared to the almost 5$/gallon we had a few years back.

P.S You're crazy if you would drive the Belt PKWY and cross the bridge to NJ to save money on gas :)

$1.99 for 93 this morning in Bergen County.
If you are on the Garden State or Turnpike you will pay a premium above local gas stations.

Ran my 2012 CTS-V @40k miles on it and never an issue with performance or gas mileage. Would occasionally run a few tanks of Sunoco Ultra and never a difference between Costco and Ultra. Was filling up my Escalade today and there were 2 911's, an M5 and an E63AMG at the station getting fuel at the same time. My sons Subaru WRX-STI runs a Cobb Access Port tune and it runs fine needing 93 octane. He's been using it with no issues.
I can understand you questioning Costco gas as I did too when they came to our area..I actually believe in this gas now...besides the sell a ton of it so it's not sitting in their tanks for long.
Also according to the EPA they are considered to be a Top Tier Gasoline. I know this is from their website but still interesting...

.... Costco 93 Octane here is $1.69 a gallon in Wayne NJ. I just filled up 6 hrs ago.

Jersey has some of the cheapest gas in the nation. The state does not tax the gas as heavy as other states. What ever politicians introduce a bill that would add more taxes on gas will never see another term in office.

Wow, you learn something new everyday right? I think I'll have to try it, only problem is that the nearest Costco is in the hood. At this moment I only use BP 93

From what I understand too is Costco can get pretty crowded at the pumps. Sometimes a 10 min wait or longer

Gotta love america. No one ever wants to make the tough choices. LOL. Soon with property taxes so high no one will be able to afford to live there any more and the roads will be complete crap, but they'll have cheap gas. LOL. I say if anyone is really crying over 5c per gallon in taxes maybe they shouldn't drive. Glad I got outta that state.
Life has taught me never try to make something idiot proof, they'll simply come up with a better idiot.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
I have neither the time, nor the crayons to explain this to you properly.

From what I hear, property tax will soon drop to nothing along with the re sale of homes in Nassau. Idk that's what I learned last year from an inside source.

Actually if the politicians stop robbing the tax $$$ and registration fee's that is supposed to be used to fix the roads in wouldnt be like this. Look at Manhattan. Gas tax up the AZZ and ier pot hole creators roads everywhere you

my wife reported paying 2.99 for shell 93 in NJ off Exit 63 from I-80 yesterday, good thing it was only for a 4 gallon top off.
I usually hit up the shell off the Hutch in the bronx and last week was 2.45 for 93

Glad I could help. Remember one doesn't have to be a member to use Costco for gas. They also only take credit cards...no cash. They pump so much they're afraid if they took cash they would be subject to being robbed..especially if your nearest one is in the hood.

I believe this rule is true in NJ. I went to a Costco in MD to DC and they refused me service because I wasnt a member. I even showed him a receipt of purchasing gas that morning from jersey costco location. A manager came out and told me that in NJ Costco can not refuse anyone gas because its a essential need
