Let me start off by saying I am not selling this car I am simply passing this on to the members of AZ!

As some of you know my beautiful B7 A4 Avant was rear-ended the last week of January by a kid talking on a cell phone. The insurance has deemed it a total loss due to rear floor pan and frame damage. The rear bumper support was snapped completely in half.





The reason for this post is while searching for a replacement I came across a car for sale in PA. The dealership Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group and specifically the salesman Diego Lamar were EXTREMELY helpful with giving me every piece of information that i had asked for. Unfortunately I will not be picking this specific Avant up so I decided to pass it along to you guys!

Note* I cannot vouch for the car itself only the service and assistance that I was given by the sales staff. I know they did some work to the car as they sent me the RO which is posted in the second post.


Before anyone asks about me parting out my Avant I will tell you that I am not parting out any of the performance parts on the car because they will all be installed in my new B7 A4. Once the performance parts are stripped I will make an appropriate part out thread in the classifieds with that information.

I thought I had seen that on the car fax but I didn't save it so i couldn't go back and confirm. Let me see if i can get that.

There is paint scrapping on the driver side fender in the photos. Perhaps it was that minor?

No clue. I would assume that damage is just due to a parking lot incident. I would think the accident reported would be more damage than that. Regardless that car scored better than mine with one accident as well. If anyone is local I'd say to have the car inspected.

Definitely with that over spray on the spare tire. Not saying it was not a good repair but for crying out loud if it was my car it would have been back to the shop to get rid of the over spray. Details matter and it points to a possible very quick repair. Definately not a shop that pays attention to details that matter to those that look closely and care about their car.

Agreed. I'm going to be very picky about my car when I get it back from repairs.

Could be from them having the rear bumper just resprayed... The CarFax said front end damage....The guy at the dealer texted and said someone was looking at it today and asked that same question.

Or could be just a fast bumper re-spray job. Some prep sol would have removed it while it was still fresh. But I would be very unhappy with the overspray if I it.

I mean if the vehicle checks out and is mechanically sound those are really minor issues. Paperwork support the value of the car as is which isn't bad at all considering its history. Plus side...it is a Quattro avant with 6MT.

Lol I'm certain it wasn't you. Careful though...according to the SLT PD it's common for hit and runs out there. Just found out today they guy who hit me didn't have insurance. Imbecile thought he could get away...
