The only exhaust system you will ever need.

Audi’s sports cars are the perfect partner for precision-engineered titanium alloy Evolution systems, which make these Ingolstadt machines even more attractive on all fronts. They yield more power, lower the weight, and deliver that unmistakable Akrapovič sound. It’s deep and resonant at lower engine revs, and sporty at higher revs. The system also generously delivers additional performance. These titanium exhaust systems with three mufflers and special parts cast at the in-house foundry feature inbuilt valves to adjust the sound. Valves are connected to the RS’ standard electronics. The package is rounded off by carbon fibre and titanium tailpipes, which really stand out and display the sports spirit of the Akrapovič exhaust. This is a cat-back performance exhaust system, which means that the stock catalytic converters remain in place and there’s no need to remap the ECU.

I have this exhaust myself. It is definitely not as loud as the Capristo exhaust, that being said it has a distinctive tone unlike any other exhaust I have heard. Other people who have been in my car have said that this sounds a lot better in the car then the Capristo exhaust. It tickles my ears when I accelerate through the gears, a real pleasure every time. If you are looking for brute loud sound this is not the exhaust to go with. Outside of the car the Capristo still is definitely louder. But if you're looking for a refined great sounding exhaust them look no further. I plan to add the AWE down pipes to this exhaust to make it louder, others have done this and have been very happy. I sourced this from another Member Offering Performance Sound, and I am very happy with my purchase. But I heard vividracing's pricing is very competitive.

Only a 20 lb weight savings considering its a titanium system? Seems a bit conservative to me...

I would love to hear your setup in person some day. I have to admit, I spend a lot time listening to sound clips and find myself enjoying the sound of this set up more than the Capristo. Tough to swallow the price difference.
I'm assuming you're referring to the AWE non-res down pipe?

I see you live in Bedford. I work in white plains, can't be more than 20 mins away. Usually during the week I'd crash at my uncles in Scarsdale so I don't have to do the hour drive back to Queens. Smurfette is put away for the winter, but sometime in spring or early summer we can definitely meet up.

Awesome. I actually commute out of North White, so even closer. Thank you.

I also picked up a lightly used AWE down pipe from another member who originally sourced it from a Member Offering Performance Sound, lol. I'll give this a try first with my Sport Exhaust and see how that sounds. I have a feeling I will end up following your path.
