    Wheel/Tire help! (2016 Audi Allroad)

    Hi All,

Looking for some guidance. I need some help deciding as to what would be the best wheel and tire size option for my set up? I will be lowering my Allroad on coilovers and although I will be going low, I won't be riding slammed - just enough to tuck the tire. That said, I thought the wheel and tire size in this picture (see below), would be ideal however, I am not sure if I want to the tire so stretched like that - Will it look silly given I will be on coilovers? I am not going with air suspension. I was told a 275 tire would be my best bet?

Given I will be on coilovers, would the following rim and tire size be over kill? I know I definitely want 20's but I question the tire size? Perhaps the rim size as well? Looking for some guidance!

Below is the car that inspired me to go this route. Here is the wheels and tire size info: Rohana RC7 11x20 ET28 with Falkens 255\30R20

My main concern is I don't want to lose the concave look of the wheel and at the same time, run a tire that fills out and is not stretched.

If someone could provide guidance on that, it would help me out big time.

If you actually want to use the car and drive in a spirited fashion, 20x11 is way too aggressive IMO. 20x9-10" is ideal with a 275/30 tire. I am not tucked but run 275/35r20 and love it (oem rs6/7 rolling stock size)

Appreciate the feedback. I am now leaning towards going 20x10 with a 275-30-20 series tire. The wheels have a +28 offset, so I assume that the concave look will still be in effect?

When choosing a tire size, consider choosing one with the correct load index.

Depending on how low you go you might be rubbing at 275 on 20x10. At .5 inches above to flush(top of the rubber) you should be good. I would say if anything, 255 or 265 you should be ok on the 20x10 if you are going past the top of the tire.

Cropped a few pictures to show you the fitment.

I'm running 20x10.5 at et23 wearing 275/30/20 and it tucks because of chamber with mild rubbing if I lower it enough to tuck the top part of the tire which I rarely do(don't like rubbing lol).
I will rub if I'm turning down a drive way, corner or a pothole.

20x9 at et45 wearing 255/35/20. Using 20mm spacers which gives me 3mm of play in the front but still rub if I lower the car .5 below the top of the tire. **you can see a little gap in the front. Spacer sizes will also help you get the tire fitment you want while minimizing the potential to rub.

    I am also going to go with the H & R Springs for the Allroad with 20 x 10 et30 on 275/30-20.

The H&R's have been on 14 months now and I like them a lot no squeaks rattles, nothing, still just like stock feel. My wheels are an ET 35 and I would say 25 to 30 is perfect.

I'm running 20x10 et30 and get lots of rubbing with 275/30 tires. My next set will be 255/30. YMMV, but figured I'd throw it out there.

I did some more research and might end up running 285/30 20.

    Wheel/Tire help! (2016 Audi Allroad)

I'm running 20 x 10.5 et 30 w/ 275/30/20 Conti DWS06. I was rubbing pretty good in the rear with my desired ride height so had to raise the car. I'm running with about a .75" gap all the way around now.

    ^

    Looks good!

In the end, if you want to ride lower, you need to run a smaller tire/stretch set up.

Yeah perhaps when these tires are due for replacing but as a daily driver and frequently having load in the back the height works for practicality lol
