    Blendmount and Escort Max360

Is anyone running the Blendmount and Escort Max360 radar combo in their A4? I just installed the Blendmount and the Max360 vibrates a bit more than I expected. It's solid in my other ride with the V1 so I'm wondering if it's a function of the desgin since it attaches to the back of the radar v.s the sides on the V1. I may need to add a larger piece of foam to the underside of the mount that touches the top of the radar or just deal with it and accept the vibration as inherint of the design. So far I like the radar but their customer service is the worst! I'll be hardwiring it to clean up the install in the next few days... Any feedback is appreciated.

I run this combo, no problems. Foam should help, try and find black

No issues with running a Redline. You sure you have the 360 locked in place?

Thanks guys. I'm certain it's installed correctly but it's also my understanding that the Max360 uses the same mount as the Max and Max2. Both of which are smaller and lighter than the 360. Perhaps is just a weight issue or maybe I'm being a bit picky. It vibrates but it's not like original windshield mount before Escort developed the "sticky cup". Maybe I'll shoot a quick video and see what you guys think.

Shonseb, love the RS5! How do you like your Max360?

It's a known issue with the original mount that came with the Max and Max2 according to the Escort Forum and many other radar focused forums. Not the Blendmount I have as most people are happy with it. So what would I need to search the Escort forum for?

Thanks for the compliment! The 360 is definitely nicer because of the arrows, but I feel like I'm getting a lot of false signals. K band goes off every couple of minutes on the highway, and probably because of lane departure prevention from other cars but I felt the max2 was better and didn't have that issue.

I probably need to do an update with the database which I haven't done yet. Otherwise I really like it

That's interesting. Mine has the latest firmware and it's pretty quiet. Range seems good but I do notice the arrows lag a bit compared to the V1. But the fact that it so far has good BSM filtering in a plug and play self contained unit makes it a keeper. The only thing I'm not to keen on is the size and the fact I can't use my covercraft heat shield with it mounted... Just received the mirror tap in the mail today so it'll go in this weekend.
