    Grill replacement suggestions

Hate to admit it but while parking tagged a low retaining wall in my wife's '14 A4 S-Line. Of course dealership wants an arm and leg for it and saying probably more damage behind it... There isn't. Curious if anyone here has swapped out a grill? If so, lessons learned, suggestions, etc? Really curious if it'll be better to let the local body shop do it. Thanks!

Looking more closely makes me say you should probably get it painted. The paint is cracked and bubbled up pretty bad and it will fall off soon .

    Time for an RS grille...

The actual swap is easy. Figure about 2 hours to do the job, including Plasti dipping the crash bar if you go with an RS grille, which you can get on ECS or eBay relatively inexpensively.

On your white car it would look like this:

Really doesn't look that bad tbh I'd just hit it with some touch-up paint.

S4 Grille! I love mine but that's because I don't really care for the RS4 grille...

I think a black optics or S4 grille look a lot better and higher quality. 4RingNut's looks great too!

    And agree on carbon fiber.

Good call. Check my build thread to get an idea of what the 2 will look like. Bear in mind I dipped it over a year ago and didn't use glossifier.
