Mirror mount brackets for radar/laser detectors

Do these work on the RS5s or do they obstruct something in the mirror? Would prefer mounting it up high rather than on the dash if possible. TIA

Thanx Jimmy. Did you get the wire tap as well? If so where did you tap it into?

I did but never installed. The amount of times I use it I just didn't bother. I have the Escort Max with smart cord. I just plug it into cig lighter. Mount is great. I got it off EBay. But it was expensive.

I currently just use the suction cup mount up by the mirror.

I hardwired it with the escort hardwire. I tapped into the homelink wiring for power and used one of the screws located in the sheet metal up above the dome light/homelink assembly.

Thanx Josh, I was thinking of using the map light but wasn't sure it is a switched power source

No, the homelink module, the little buttons for the garage door opener. I don't know if the map light would work or not.
