    2007 D3 - Wheel fitment advice - 22x9.5 et45 with 20mm spacers

    Hi all,

New member, had my Audi A8 for a year now and time to mod.

I have some wheels I want to use, 22x9.5 all round, et45 but will be using some hub adaptors which will make the wheels 22x9.5 et25.

    1. Will they fit?
    2. What size tyres do you recommend?
    3. I will probably go with lowering links in the future, so bare this in mind!
    4. Do not mind a bit of poke or stretched tyres.

I know 22's may not be everyone's cup of tea on the 8's, but I like the idea and am willing to toy with it.

Many thanks in advance guys n gals.

    Mr A

I have nothing helpful to add except my 2007 S8 rides rough enough on the stock 20's, I couldn't imagine 22's.

Best of luck though, can't wait to hear your impressions and see some pics

They will fit with your spacers and some 255/30/22 tires. Might be able to get away with a 265/30 if you go with 15mm spacers up front at least.
Or shoot me a pm and I'll sell you a set of D3 spec'd 20 or 21 inch HRE's, currently thinning out my collection and would make a fellow D3 owner a hell of a deal.

    Hey Mike,

From what I have read and been advised, because I'm going with a 5x120 stud pattern to 5x112, 20mm is the thinnest I can get!

I still have one issue to work out but it shouldn't be too hard - just need to figure out what lug nuts to use.

Just buy your adapters off Adaptec and they'll make sure and get you proper hardware.
14x1.5 is factory thread pitch, you'll need lug nuts the same thread as the studs on the spacer though.
