    High mileage allroad advice

I came across a local allroad sale in may area (https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/5327192105.html) which looks clean and a has been updated mechanically. Are there any concern to purchasing a high mileage allroad? Any feedback, advice or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Wow by reading the posting its sounds pretty good... I just bought a 2001 allroad 2.7t with auto trans... The car has a little over 300k on it but both turbos all engine seals and gaskets were replaced timing belt water pump blah blah blah all four air ride suspension was replaced all which was done less then 20k miles ago... The only thing I'm not sure about is the tranny... I'm sure since the original owner took such pride in maintaining this car (I have all the paperwork and receipts to prove the work) I'm sure he didn't the trany as well (I haven't looked completely through the file I was given... But what I'm getting at is my best friend is the head Porsche tech at our local dealer and my other buddy who is the head Audi tech both told me that if all that work was done and the car makes it through this winter with no issues then there's no reason that car shouldn't last a few more years

Thanks for the info. There's an 01 with 82K miles in the area for $7,800 and no history. It's a 2 owner car and seems pricey.

That is pricey. I paid $7,600 for my 03 6 speed 1 owner dealer maintained allroad with 80k 3 years ago.

It is spendy...the car is very nice with NO history. The seller lowered the price to $6,800.

The high mileage is also nice and the repairs are documented. The seller is a small dealer that does all the repairs and flips/sells the cars. My concern is that the turbos are original and have read the horror story's and cost to replace.
