You need to total everything up with what you'll spend on the OEM Bi-Xenons versus these. The breakdown of mine is
OEM Bi-Xenons AFS (CC & Blackout Mods) with bulbs, ballasts and harness : I personally clear corner modded them ($100 new for caps and OEM chrome bulbs via Phil “fly300kts”) as well as the housing painted matte black (something you won't have to do with these headlights since they're already blacked out and clear indicators). The headlights
($1694 new) come with the Kufatec Wire Harness
($79 new) , Ziza 6000K D1S Xenon Bulbs
($150 new), Ziza/ ECS LED City Light
($50 new), Nokya Hyper White 1156 Daytime Running Light (DRL) bulbs
($15 new), and two ballast (Used from Phil “fly300kts”, $
100/ballast valued online). I also have the Nokya Hyper Yellow 1156 DRL bulbs (
$16 new)
(Sorry if wording is weird, copied and pasted from my feeler thread) All in all, that cost is roughly $1200 if you get the OEM Bi-Xenons for $650 and everything else new that I mentioned (not including the price of two sets of DRL's). Not to mention, if you don't have access to a Ross Tech VCDS you'll have to shell out another $350 to get the lights working properly. Not to mention used Bi-Xenons are USED, and these are new. If all is included, these are the better buy
EDIT: Here is a breakdown of everything I totaled up:
- Clear Corner Caps- $100 with chrome bulbs
- Ballasts- $200 (for set of 2)
- DRL bulbs- $15
- LED City Lights- $50
- Ziza 6000K bulbs- $150
- Kufatec Wire harness- $79
All together that's $594. Pricing OEM Bi-Xenons at $600 lets say, puts the total at $1,194. And then the VCDS is an additional $350
