I can get OEM Bi-xenons from phil super cheap. I think it was $500 but i don't want to go that route. I wanna get the iris shrouds from retrofitsource for $120

Looking back if it were a money issue, I would have done the retrofit. But these still are a great option and I'm sure the price will go down over time. They look great too, one of the few LED headlights that actually look good from the box. I'm happy to see so much coming out for cars that are nearing 10 years old

Lol the B7 platform will be a legend. I have people with 2015 A4's and tell me they love how the B7 looks. It is a perfect body style.

Yeah no kidding, When i go back through all my bank statements the B7 will be a legend also. Maintenance $$$, Payment $$$, Premium Gas $$$, and last but not least MORE MAINTENANCE $$$$$$.

Seems that these might be alright here in the states. Reason being, I was noticing all Honda/Acura LED renditions don't wink at all and I highly doubt it was a major federal regulations oversight of on the manufacturers part.

Did anyone find out if these come with ballasts and bulbs? I would assume no, but the descriptions which contain statistical data of visibility improvements make me think they might come included. Hard to provide visibility improvement numbers when you don't know which ballasts and bulbs are going into the housing.

these are pretty much plug and play.

I just contacted ECS tuning to ask them if they have any future plans of obtaining these. I'm sure they've already seen it on this forum but I still posted a link to this thread in my email. worst case scenario, i'll wait til the USD gets stronger/the euro gets weaker and I'll have them shipped to a friend in Germany. Currently they're at the price of $801 USD/each + exchange rate (if any) + shipping. Priced a bit high for the moment with all things considered, (IMO) since I could get brand new OEM euro specs OR used/fly modded US spec for probably the same price or cheaper.

To me, that price isn't that bad. Go to ECS and Audi brand halogens headlights are $413/side. I'm assuming these are pretty close to OEM quality so if I had to replace a headlight right now, I'd be tempted to pop for a pair of these.........if I had more pictures.

shows how confident i am in my prediction. lol, it's gone down notably since I was in Amsterdam a month or so ago, and since i was able to get it down to less than $800 including shipping to the states, figured i'd take advantage of it.

I bet you anything that in a month they'll probably release them in the US for less.
