    Thank you!

And they were 18x9.5 square. The grille is custom made, you just cut the bar off of the bumper.

Time for a more formal update, although I still don't think anyone reads this

So I was never really happy with this grille. I must have used some horrible epoxy because this lasted maybe 2 months before the epoxy became weak. I ripped the mesh out.

Since then, I cut a new grille and the frame came out in one piece this time, so I attempted to make it again with a different epoxy. I also haven't had to rush in making this one so I can make sure it's 110% sturdy before putting it back on the car

Also, I sold the cuprazilla and probably will have a new one made more specific for the DTM bumper. I have another lip made for the DTM bumper, I believe it's the carbon creations version of the OEM one.

Lastly, my wheels are almost done!!! I hope to have them on for Waterfest

    Fronts: 18x10 et25

    Rears: 18x11 et0

That's all for now. Also have some miscellaneous things to fix, such as changing the valve cover and the leak detection pump, as well as get new tail lights... More to come!

Nope, I used it to make the new grille. You can get a RS6 grille on ECS tuning for like $160

    Impulse's Progression Thread (Picture Heavy)

So this was my trunk setup when I bought the car. It's a horrible picture but it's the only one I have. I wasn't happy with it at all... The hard lines restricted trunk usage and I didn't have a spare tire. Also, half of the trunk floor was missing because it was MIA when I purchased the car. I had to do something about this.... Sooooo I got to work!

Below are some progress pictures. The tank was mounted on a bracket that I modified and used for the install again. I didn't take too many pictures of the process or the final product but I will share what I have

I started by building a wall to mount my compressors on that would also hide my manifold and other wiring / miscellaneous tidbits.

Also, I bought the compressor isolators. I noticed a difference for sure on the sound of the compressors but I don't think that they made that significant of a difference

This is behind the wall before I finished it up. I had to have the wires over the tank because my manifold was not yet relocated to behind the wall

    As seen below.

Annnnnddddd after running new air lines with my friend Kyle (one of them was also ripped so it made sense to replace all of them) we have the final product

Let me know what you think!

EDIT: I know the leader lines aren't symmetrical. I need to take some measurements and figure it out.

Best way to have it last for years is to plastic weld the joints using an iron and rod. It's the way I did mine and it's lasted me years no cracks what so ever.

Test fit done. The fronts don't fit so I'm having the calipers machined down a little and might run a 5mm spacer. Waterfest prep shall be the death of me

Gotta get rid of the chrome and get the JOM clear tails still! I'm debating on doing my chrome matched to the wheels, or doing it black

They're on! Now I just need to adjust the rear camber and we're golden! Minus the fact that my front wheels need to be remade but that's a story for a different day.

Also, while getting the wheels squared away I was able to finish the following:
    •Install newly built grille
    •Install newly re-cleared splitter
    •Change leak detection pump
•Install Go Fast Bits DV+ upgrade
•Change oil and install aluminum oil filter housing and magnetic drain plug
•Put on cheapo China made carbon fiber mirror covers (which honestly don't look horrible)

That looks damn good! Now Joey mod the headlights and gloss black the window trim/front grille already!! Also have any better pictures of the fitment on those mirror covers? Just can't justify the cost for ECS tuning ones.

I'm thinking of doing all of the chrome (rings, grille trim, window trim, rear trunk ledge thing, headlights) to all be matched to the wheels. I'll take some pictures after work when I get to my car for ya

Thanks man! Sticking around to see the final product. Just noticed the CF tidbits match the color of your wheels too. 👍
