Soooooo, I just called Audi and I need to show service records for every 10k miles or every year. I need to find someone to alter the dates on a bill for 2011,12,14 so I can get this done. Any suggestions?

First thing I would probably do is not post evidence of myself attempting to commit fraud on a public forum.

lol, I know this and I'm not going to do that so don't worry. I was joking but I also don't give a shit! I just need ideas on how the fuck I can get this done but it looks like I'm shit out of luck...

Edit: Pissed the fuck off if you can't tell! Time for an engine build and bigger turbo or sell the damn thing... I'm going to call around to different places to see if they will do it without the records.

Is this for oil consumption? That's BS, try a different dealer. I was never asked for any and I do all my own oil changes so I would've been screwed.

Yes it is. I have called a couple dealers and have been told the same thing. I think I need to find a random shop that will do it or something...

Edit: Just called another dealer and I asked multiple times if I need anything and they said no and to bring it in.

Good to hear. The dealer that did my stage 1 fix never asked about service records and didn't even ask me to run a test before scheduling the repair.

Thank man! I just hope I don't go through all the trouble and they ask for them after doing the work. Did you leave the intercooler and HFC on?

I know I'll have to take off the intake, coils, plugs and tune. I might need to take the GFB DV+ off too.

I left plugs and coils, yanked the HFC and tuned to stock. Tough call on the rest but if it were me I wouldn't chance it and would put it all back. Nothing there that couldn't all be finished up in one annoying day.

I just called them again and they said just to take the tune off and throw the stock intake on. I think I'm going to take off the coils and plugs and put the stock gapped plugs back in. Plus take off the obvious catch-can.

They said I need to bring it to them so they can weight it and measure everything before driving it 500-700 miles. Did you have to do that before getting the stage 1 done?

My car was still stock when I had the oil consumption fixed. Got through my warranty and most of the oil consumption period before I started messing with the car.

Well that's awesome, saves you a bunch of time. Stage one is them changing your oil and telling you to come back when the oil low light comes on so they can drain the oil and measure how much is left, maybe that's what they're talking about?

I just called to setup an appointment to take off my tune, then drive it straight to the dealer. The dealer said this is to test and make sure it's burning enough oil to do stage 1 (not sure she knows what she's talking about or just correct). I'm burning a liter every 700 miles so this should be a quick fix considering this dealer is 103 miles away.

I did the same as blbroo. Got stage 1 and then 2 completed before I even turned a single wrench, myself, on the car.

Stage 1 is new PCV valve, updated ECU file for said PCV valve, sometimes you get a new crank seal in the lower timing cover, oil change, they paint mark everything so they know you don't mess with it / take oil out yourself and you drive ~1000km (that's why they tell everyone 600-700 miles). Drain your oil and figure out how much is missing / consumed and calculate your consumption.

I've been looking into that. I have some time until it happens so we will see. I just want more power without doing any internals for now and not blow up my engine.

Time to finally fix the oil consumption issue... Man it's weird to have most of this stuff stock again.

It's been raining so that's why it's all wet and nothing's leaking.

Getting the tune taken off now and then heading to the dealer. I have to say, just installing the stock stuff that I did you can tell a difference in the car. This is going to be a long few months until I get the stages out of the way and fixed...

    Update:
Tune is off and damn it's slow. If you guys get bored with stage 2, turn it off for a week and then turn it back on. Lol

    Update:
Instead of them weighing the car and measuring the oil like they said they wanted to do first... They looked at it and said they are going to just do the stage 1 right now. They said they saw the tune was loaded before and didn't care, they got the approval for warranty and are going for it. I love these guys already!!!

    My sweet ride until then.

Im in the same boat right now. Went about a month ago to start the oil consumption test, been without my tune ever since, getting a little bored. But my MMI is reading empty for oil level, so oil light should be popping up any day now I can take it back in. Can't wait to get the tune back on though!

Nice, how many miles did they have you drive on stage 1? My educated guess would be until the light comes on or 700 miles.

They told me they need the oil light to come on to proceed, not necessarily true, but I am fine with that, so didn't push to go in sooner. As I said, my MMI is reading empty and its been about 1100km since I went for part 1 of the test, which is about 680 miles. Expecting light to come on within the next 100km or so.

Awesome, hope it comes on soon so you can get that stage 2. I've been getting 700 miles per quart so hopefully this doesn't make it a little better, I just want to drive those 700 miles and get that stage 2.

Yeah man, hoping for the best with this. Haven't had any discussion with the dealer yet regarding stage 2, so I hope they don't give me the run around. I'll post some updates when I know. Good luck with yours! And enjoy your stock ride haha.

My local dealer took my car back for Stage II measurements without the low oil level light coming back on, but it was very close and I was about to go on a 1,500 mile trip, so I kept on them until they called AoA and let them decide. I was approved, but judging from some stories I am somewhat surprised I was; worked out in the end. Just drive it hard, and you'll be good.

My big question from the oil consumption tests is in the hidden menu. I hadn't enabled my hidden menu until after all the warranty work, but noticed that there is an entry that reads "Extended Oil Life" and is checked. Which really made me question if they have a cheat mechanism worked into with the small software update in stage I. I suggest this because my oil light would come on quicker from the lowest readable level on the MMI gauge before stage I, but after stage I it sat just above the line for about 300 miles. If the first 7/8 of the top quart took ~650 miles to burn, why did the next 1/8 take 300? Maybe its me being paranoid, or just a case of the watched pot not boiling, but does anyone know what this feature in the hidden menu does?

This is true...unless you buy a billet dip stick from ECS; in which case, you have no idea if the read wire is the right length plus it rubs on your hood, so it's in your trunk until the replace it.

I had the same experience with my MMI readings after Stage 1, so I am curious as well. Although again, could be paranoia on both our parts haha.

Lol, I've heard about that. Even the plastic one hits the hood so it's a lose, lose.

I've never had one problem... until today.

From what I've read, I need to clean or get a new sensor.

None of you are Paranoid, Your all completely correct. Before purchasing my 2012 B8 A4 I consulted with a friend who is a Master Tech at the Dealer I wound up buying My CPO from. I inquired about the Oil Consumption issue on early production 2011 and prior. We chatted about lawsuit and he specifically told me upon doing the Stage 1 test there is a Software upgrade. The software actually recalibrates the oil level sensor to not be "As Sensitive" and therefore delay the level drop. To be quite honest in my own situation I purchased the Dipstick and have only used it once. It seems to always read full even when the computer shows otherwise. I purchased the car with 33K 05/15, I now have 60K 08/16(70 Mile daily commute). I have to add a 1/4 of a quart every 1000 miles or so. It all depends if you push the car or not.

Well, looks like that was the obvious problem since the code does most of the trouble shooting for you but this has never happend before. I think I might take my front bumper off and take off the piping and intercooler to drain out whatever oil is in there.

Who's had this issue before with oil messing with senors in the intake portion?

There was a little bit of oil on the outer part and not sure how it got there. It wasn't loose and I'm guessing it blew out through the green seal.

You can see it's clearly covering the senor and messed with the readings.

I never had a problem with this, and I doubt many are burning as much oil as I was. Do you have a catch can? That's probably the first thing I'd blame.

I do but it's off since I'm in doing Stage i right now and getting close to bringing it in for them to give the okay from Stage II. How would be the catch-can be an issue? Serious question.

I would think from forgetting to empty it and letting it get too full, causing it to overflow a relatively large amount of oil all at once into your intake tract.

But just in general doing high-level troubleshooting, if you're having a problem with components in your intake system getting coated with oil, and you've done aftermarket modifications to your intake and oiling system, especially one that consists of adding a reservoir of oil which is directly attached to your intake system, that's just the first place I'd look.
