Well we have a "show me your fmic" thread and a "show me your wheels" thread and so on. But I haven't seen this one yet so I am going to start it.

Show me your engine bay. I have seen a lot of different turbo and intake setups and various little differences that some ceative people have come up with so lets see those shiney or stealth or whatever engine bays and I'll start it off with mine.

Make sure to list any special or custom items for those of us who are less observant.

its a photoshop. you take a picture of the car(on a tripod) with the hood closed, and then pop the hood and take a photo from the same place. upload the photos, open in photoshop, combine, and if you want you can erase the actual hood in the open photo(as explicit did)

It's a Carbonio V1 mounted sideways, and as for the carbon fiber whore remark .............

My setup...homebrew, nothing special. Valve cover shield courtesy of Joseph a.k.a. audisnapr. I think I'm going to do a red crinkle valve cover like offroader then something cool (don't know what yet) with the VC shield....

Wow awesome. What did you use to paint the valve cover? I was thinking Caliper paint, but the stuff you have on your engine looks high quality.

URS4 - that S4 engine bay is tits!!

how much power are you running?

That motor, which is a 2.5 short stroker, and used a so so tubular exhaust manifold and GT35R put down 500 hp and 560 tq ATW corrected here at Denver's altitude. A failed Bosch sparkplug took out the head, pistonn and the turbo. The new motor has a Saridea tubular manifold, Big Cam Big Valve Head, and much larger ITS Ceramic ball bearing F271 turbo should be good for 600+ hp. I am using AEM standalone EMS and RC Engineering 1000cc injectors.

You can see on this closeup that the cast IM has been added on to. This is an 034 Motorsport manifold that is used in a variety of applications. I had to lengthen the TB mounting so that it would clear an engine component. 034 does a lot with the older Audi community but they also have many offerings for the newer ones. I'll probably use them when I source a larger turbo for my A4.

Did you say they used a SAE correction for your #'s? Did they use the standard corrections on their dyno or did they adjust for a turbo setup?

The dynos here in the Denver area use the standard SAE correction for altitude and ambient conditions. I think we've talked before about turbos and BPVs on AW.
