I built a set of 3 piece LM's over the winter in some pretty wild specs for the B6 chassis so I figured it would be a good idea to do a small build thread for others to refer to when trying to do similar projects and allow myself to showcase my work.
Here is the car from prior years, some of you may be familiar with it.

I started with a pretty decent set of 19" LM but the specs were weak and I'm not a fan of face mount LM's so the build began.
Here's what I started with.

I had to machine the faces a bit to accommodate inner and outer halves plus I wanted to run them sandwich mounted. I also had the holes for the hardware drilled out from M7 to M8 to add strength and aid in getting these babies to seal with no issues.

Sandwiches...

It alive!!

Sealed them all up, this is very easy if you take your time and use some masking tape to keep the mess to a minimum.

Final specs are 19x9.5 et25 front 19x10.5 et20
Next step was to very carefully choose my tire sizes, wound up with 225/35 for the front and 235/35 for the rear. Nice bit of stretch to say the least.

Now the fun part, trying to get these mofo's to fit.
Initial test fit, that's not gonna work.

I rolled the piss out of the front fenders and pulled the rears the best I could with my roller. This got the job done but left the rears a little too wavy for my taste so off to the body shop it went. I had the fenders reworked as well as the front bumper and a couple other odds and ends resprayed.

Now were talking!

Also should mention I did a little grinding on the rear hubs and these bolts per some advice from CaptObvious for a little extra camber, forgot to take pics of this process but it's pretty self explanatory once you get down there and look at it. This gave me the tiny bit of extra room I was needing.

Here's some pics I took today of everything all together and rub free. Hope you enjoy and I can't wait to hear some feedback.
