a while back i saw a b6 drive by with the headlights blinking like a police car but just white and not red and blue. they seemed to have LED headlights fitted into OEM housing? anyone know what i'm talking about? i would love to do a mod like this where i can control the headlights and let them flash/strobe when appropriate.
if anyone knows how to do this or can point me in the right direction i would appreciate it!

Those most likely where ecode headlights with bad led bulbs that would flash on there own, not a mod, just cheap and I correct

its not a bright strobe. its dim and just for looks.it seems as if its just a couple tiny led's aside the headlights. and nothing rice about it. i've never seen a rice car with that before.

LEDs tend to appear to flash when recorded. What you most likely saw was a LED city light.

Its sad to say that the B6 is the new "Honda Civic". Just look at the 18/19/20-year-olds that are posting on here. Its all about test pipes on automatics, how to make the car louder, flashing headlights and some other ridiculous mods that I will not go into. Sad to see these types destroy a beautiful euro car and "trick" it out with their "ricey" ways.

i would only use it in the daytime, or as others said at night in a parking lot. im not trying to drive around all the time with it on.

yes it may be illegal, but so is catless exhaust in my state but thousands of people still do it. so are purple and blue hued HID's but people still run them.

i'm 27. if you consider that "younger generation" i guess so. but whats more childish is everyone bashing and talking smack on here.
im on my 5th audi. never rice'd any of them out, i keep it as classy as possible. but i saw the mod on the newer audi's and thought it was kinda cool so i wanted to attempt something similar but like i said "less flashy" and its not something that i'd do all the time.

and last time i checked, its my car. whats really sad is that most people come on these forums and ask what other people like or what others think of their car. and they mod their car to other peoples liking. buy the wheels others tell them to buy, etc..
im not trying to impress a bunch of guys i dont know. i'm simply trying something new and if i dont like it i can always put it back how it was.

what do you expect? the car is 9-12 years old. depreciated in value. if you dont like it then be a cool guy and buy a 2014 audi. so when people see you driving around they dont judge you and say "look at that guy driving that old B6, i bet it has subwoofers and seat eject buttons"

If you want it so bad then why not just do it.... Why do you need peoples permission to do a mod? And if I wanted a 2014 I could certainly buy one, but I love the B6 and the 1.8T Engine.
