Power...maybe in the lower gears. 2nd and 3rd. I find myself to shifting at 3500-4000 now to hear the note.

Throttle Response....No? Gains are minimal to none as far as feels.

For the exhaust install, I know I need the rear valance from a cabriolet, the mesh as well....what else is needed? exhaust heat sheild?

Got to meet a lot of great socal members this weekend at Targa. Ones that stood out from the B8 A5/S5/RS5 Forum were Chris (ActivS5), Miles (Miles M), Chris (BKKChris), (Gyoonit). All of my photos were shot exclusively with the ubiquitous Apple Iphone 5.

After Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant. I originally planned to follow up with Buttery wax, but I spent so much time on the car and felt like it wasn't even necessary.





Chris arrived at ~5pm and immediately helped me work on the interior trims of the car. The speedometer and MMI trim is currently piano black. I wanted the same carbon wrap Chris did for his car. In exchanged, I offered to help him wash his car =). We finished everything around ~640 and attempted to head to Malibu for a shoot. By the time we got there it was already getting dark =/. However, I got a chance to drive his S5 on the Pacific Coast Highway. I totally forgot his car had a tune and that thine went from 40 mph to 70mph instantly. The exhaust note on his apr system is so addictive. His car was begging me to step on the gas. Biiiiig fan of the 3.0 w/tune over the 4.2



Saturday
Went to Irvine for a 1 minute meet & greet @710AM --> Tag Motorsports 8AM--> HRE (Targa's 1st Stop) 9AM

BK, ActiV, and Miles and I were together for the most part. I was the only non S5 and no quad exhaust. All 3 of their exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. Towards the end of the day, Chris (ActiV) and Miles decided to utilize their launch control and race against one another. Chris had 2 additional passengers vs Miles with 1 passenger only. Chris has a APR stage 1 and Miles has a GIAC Stage 2 (Stage 2 Tune + Pulley)...man Miles car had at least 1.25 car length ahead of Chris at 0. Great stuff man.



Got back to the Hard Rock. This stud drinks straight out of the bottle (seriously)



Got home Sunday and the front may have adjusted a tad bit more. Maybe its me...who knows.

We are also raving at Electric Daisy Carnival - Las Vegas in June. Chris was raving the whole weekend and did not turn down one bit.

My co-pilot sent me some more photos. Last checkpoint at Hard Rock (after the 4 hour rally). Man the routes were so fun. Got a great chance to test out the A5 and compare it to my previous S5 w/Sports Differential. No comparison to the S5! However, although the car was not as planted as the S5, it felt very light on some sharp turns and the Michelin Pilot Sport 3s were very grip-py. After driving with 3 S5 for 90% of the Rally, I kind of wish I got an S5 =/ . I probably would not have been able to mod at the speed I did with an A5 vs an S5. But ultimately...that Daytona Gray got me...

Surprisingly we did not see a lot of Gray Audis outside of the B8 A5/S5 group. There were a lot of White, Black, and Suzuka. Finally can see Suzuka IRL!

Chris, you and your lady were extremely awesome. Glad we finally met. Wish I had a chance to tell you about the Wrapped Bright Blue M3 that showed up to Hard Rock at 7PM. He went one hour the wrong way (probably into Mexico) lol.
