    Ttrs front brakes on b5 s4

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    So I have acquired a complete front brake kit to include calipers, carriers, roters, pads bolts everything but lines. Has anyone ever seen or heard of 2013 ttrs brakes on a b5 s4? The rotors measure 370 mm and the calipers are 4 pot brembos. Don't ask how I got them but I was I was tickled to death thinking, bbk for s4! Any help would be appreciated.

    I don't think I've ever heard of it. Have you compared bolt spacing to see if they bolt up?

    Aaahh trying to keep it low pro! It's cool though I don't know how they would fit, the rotors are 370mm but as far as the holes for the calipers go I don't know. It may be a week or so before I try test fitting I don't have much time anymore.

    I honestly don't think these will fit without heavy modification. Being that you most likely picked these up for free, give it a shot. I doubt anyone on the forums has tried it yet though.

    So I got to thinking I have an a6 in the shop with Alcon 332 bbk so I pulled the wheel off and did some rough measuring, the carrier looks like it would bolt up to the upright, but you would have to use the ttrs rotors which I'm thinking are expensive and the ones I have are warped. So I thought maybe the caliper carrier for like a 332 kit may work but the Alcon setup that I'm looking at makes it look like the bolts from the caliper to the carrier won't line up.

    If i come across any rotors I will contact you. I can pretty much grab any set that comes in that gets this campaign done. Like I said if it is possible, it's certainly going to require modification since its a retrofit setup.

    They won't fit without some custom work. I was in on this campaign as well. They do squeal like bastards though, so you'd have to deal with that. There's a legitimate reason for the replacement lol.

    And speaking of trying different brakes, anyone want to volunteer to try these out :) ;

    18Zs are cheaper, direct bolt on, and have more pistons/swept disc area.

    I don't know how to put a picture up but they fit! Minor modification to the rotor for it to fit the hub and remove dust shield and new lines but that's it.

    Bolt on?

    How big are the rotors?

    This is good news.

    Rotors are 370mm and brembo 4 piston monoblocks. I will try to post a picture. They barely fit under my 18s, but fill them up in a good way.

    I have a set as well as my track wheels. They weigh 18.9lbs each and are made by Enkei for Tire Rack. Really solid well built wheel for the $. I will be selling my set now though as I went to a widebody and need 9.5's.

    Mile man 402 you would have to find someone at a dealer to hook you up after the campaign is performed. And yes these wheels are $300 a piece.

    I probably can't get another set only 2 known ttrs's down here. Like I said the only modification is wallowing out the center of the rotor to make it fit on the hub, remove the dust shield and get some brake lines to work. Other than that direct bolt on. I cannot get a side view now only had brakes on for test fitting.
