Yes it does... I actually referenced your thread when I was looking into making mine :) I used (2x) 3" universal K&N cone filters since that was easiest for me to find. I ended up covering the exposed metal piping over the weekend and it cleans up nicely

yes, the sound is awesome. I can actually hear the V8, turbo spool up and bypass valves... very much worth the effort
And the great thing is that pretty much anyone can do it

How's the daily drivability with this open pod setup ?

Especially around town ... since it'll be sucking in very hot air from the engine.

Any low end loss of power or increased lag ??

I just did the USP Intake a month ago on my S7. I wonder if theres a noticeable difference between a 2 to 1 vs true dual intake. The sound is great, I feel like it gets too much air sometimes. Do you guys with custom intakes feel that on partial throttle? Can you post a recording of your intake sounds? Look sweet though in both Black or Blue. Great job.

Not sure what you mean by "too much air"... Usually ecu will compensate for additional airflow and maintain air/fuel ratios... It sure does sound nice though

On a different note...
Check out what I picked up this week for a ridiculously cheap price (I literally could not pass this up) ... A set of 19" x 10 Stasis rims, forged aluminum. they have a little curb rash, 1 inner lip has a tiny bend/flare out. Otherwise great shape. Perfect for track or winter setup. More than likely I will try to find a set of r-compound tires and take them to the track this summer

im going to be getting my rear valence, front filler plate and horizontal grill bars wrapped in about 2 weeks. Should I do.....

1) Gloss black everything

2) Pearl black everything

3) Gloss or pearl black rear valnece and horizontal bars w/ flat black filler plate

4) Gloss or pearl black rear valence and front filler plate & leave horizontal bars chrome

5) other ideas?

Although, I only picked them up to be able to trash them on the track or on the crappy chicago winter roads next season... so i guess i shouldnt feel too bad... but damn, props to you ballers. ill have to pick up a nice set of wheels for my car sooner or later. I think I will finish my performance mods first though

Completely different feeling than the s6 but I love it. S6 is very smooth and linear where as this is just brutal.
